  1. MOARRRRRRR stories and moarrrr pics etc please!!!
  2. Very sad to hear, my condolences to his friends and family. R.I.P Lance.
  3. Okay, Why dont you just use a broker who will help you handpick a car from Japan.....? This saves you the hassle of inspecting cars locally (many of which have accident damage/other issues) and maybe youll save yourself from buying a lemon? Go through Iron Chef if you want a nice R34. He is what you call a broker and his fee is $1100 from memory. He has the know-how and contacts to be able to be able to source you a very nice R34 GTR from Japan. He can organise buying the car from auction in japan, shipping, customs, compliance etc etc.... www.ironchefimports.com
  4. In panelbeating, it is very difficult to make a repair that is so good that there is not even the slightest bit of water leakage. Did you notice if there was any moisture in the taillights? If there was, its likely a repair has been done. The interior side of the bootlid having a darker shade of blue sounds odd. Was it matte colour?
  5. Chef, he has to be trolling....especially with a username such as "JDM.AS.FCK". No one who could afford a car advertised for $60k could actually be that dumb to even consider giving that caryard a chance.
  6. Check underneath and look at the chassis rails, check for rust etc... Also, have the car out in consistent light to make sure the body reflection is nice and straight all along (it shouldnt have wavelengths in the paintwork)...Also bring a magnet and put it in a sock and run it over any areas of concern as this will pick up bodyfiller etc as magnetic attraction will be weaker. And check for all original seam welds...(will be matte in appearance). Unoriginal seam sealer will be more shiny and have white streaks through it.
  7. Look forward to seeing the progress of this car! Btw I notice theres some rust on the right rear wheel arch...are you going to get that cut out and fixed before putting on the widebody?
  8. Hey mate, Could you please take pictures inside the boot so I can see if the boot has the factory seam sealer - youll need to remove the boot floor carpet (the light tan sealer stuff joins the boot floor pan and beaver panel - so near the boot floor brace). Thanks
  9. So has the bouncer been charged with assault? Sounds like this would have happened at Finnegans lol.
  10. Im currently playing NFS WORLD, its free to download which is why Ive been playing it 8 hrs straight today... I own a Nissan S15 with custom grayish blue chrome paintjob and drag spec ride height... Gamertag is CRAZYGAIJAN See if you can spot me pwning noobs on therre....already reached level 15 skills. You can spot me in the lvons and hwy 201 sprint battle
  11. Lol it wasnt in a crash, it rolled down onto a layback curb and the right rear wheel went up a gutter. Would of rolled at 10kmh max. No accident damage at all.
  12. Cool thread, lots of quality workmanship. If you weigh the car let me know, would be interesting to see what the weight distribution etc is like with the bigger engine !!
  13. If the car is located in Liverpool I'd stay away lol
  14. I want these wheels for my s15...hnnnnng
  15. LOL, S15 is going well....noticed a couple of pindrops of black oil on the piece of cardboard (which is under engine bay where I park) but meh, I dont know where its coming from so probably nothing to worry about. Steering feels a little vague but that comes down to the fact it still has the stock suspension setup (with the struts leaking)... The car definately has a lot of potential though and is an awesome platform. Also re: brake situation. I left my car outside a mates house in Sydney parked on a downhill slope with my steering wheel pointing slightly to the left (luckily) and I pulled up the handbrake and left the car in neutral (should have put it in reverse). Anyway came out later, and the s15 had probably rolled down the hill about 3-4 metres before mounting a driveway/gutter. Luckily no damage underneath though due to tractor ride height
  16. Count me in for the informal cruise...!
  17. 900k... =| Is there any chance of the buyer being able to road-register it ?
  18. Ahhhh I see! cool.
  19. twin plate clutch puts a lot of stress on the driveline. if you dont upgrade the necessary supporting components you can get cracking in the firewall as well.
  20. FYI Jarrad and Martin Just saw this on facebook so you could give hi octane a call if you wanted in. "Anyone here with a R34 GTT in Sydney? Hi Octane Racing need to trial fit their new airbox. Anyone that wants to bring a car to 36 Mary Pde Rydalmere and let them fit one gets to keep it for free! I was just there, the offer is still good..."
  21. Haha he's a champ! Well if thats pretty stock cant wait to see how mine goes, his one sounds insane!!! Do you know what Bov he has? HKS SSQV?
  22. Had a chat with a fellow S15 owner on industrial highway at the traffic lights and cruised for a while before he went one way and I went the other. His one was same colour as mine, but had exhaust/bov (probs more mods under the hood), and these cool wheels which had a rainbow outer lip. f**k it sounded good, was also spitting flames from the exhaust.
  23. *Sheepishly looks to the right/left* .... uhhh, I'd have to say since I didn't have a job LOL. And yeah been pretty good dude, just enjoying bludging and being on uni holidays. Applied for a job as building coordinator and word is that 400 people have applied for the job. Will be interesting to see if i make the first cut
  24. That track looks very tight and twisty....and all the stop/starts would absolutely chew through petrol.
  25. "Silvia Spec-S The Spec-S was the non turbo base model with 121kW (161hp) and featured only a 5-speed manual transmission (in addition to a 4-speed automatic). It also lacked the additional chassis support of the Spec-R, featured 2-piston front brake caliper and a slightly smaller brake booster. The Spec-S also only featured the viscous limited slip differential. This model IS NOT allowed for import! " Okay, so with that said, it seems a 99 Silvia Spec S cant be complied in Aus because it doesnt meet power-to-weight requirements..... Note the add says "be the first Australian owner" so that SEEMS to rule out the fact it was brought over as a personal import...as the first Australian owner would have been the person who personally imported the vehicle. The add also states "completely unmodified"....even though it clearly has had an SR20DET conversion..as Spec S came from the factory with SR20DE Can anyone shed some light on this? Have the SEVS rules changed? Because there is a mint S13 Q's two tone in Japan at the moment which I wouldnt mind buying if the whole power-to-weight rule has been dropped. htt://www.gumtree.c...oupe/1010593867#
