  1. My gym used to play some nice electro/trance/dance music which worked very well in giving good pumps and workouts. Lately they stopped playing the techno and begun playing rnb... It now feels like I'm lifting weights in supre'...
  2. Floyd Mayweather uses light dumbbells when shadow boxing. Nuff said.
  3. Cool cars, cool vids I wonder what 'old car smell' smells like !
  4. Oh and if you have 120k, you might as well buy a real R34 GTR...
  5. Just by reading your posts, i think you shouldn't be buying a GTR...
  6. Thanks Matt That was the type of help i was looking for, someone who has gone through the process. I will make sure to call up Japlink and they should be able to help me out Cheers mate
  7. Wow, that's just plain stupid... It is in no way worth the risk. Just a drive down to maccas for lunch can lead to a 6 month suspension and a 1 year extra wait (suspension + driving hours requirement) until you can legally drive turbos...
  8. Thanks, I guess defects can be used as a rule of thumb. Although a lot of stupid crap gets defected nowadays, I'll just adhere to common sense when buying
  9. I thought it came out of factory over 9000?
  10. Well, i hear the word gronk everyday and this is my understanding of the meaning Said by a male: usually means your an a-hole or a d-head Said by a female: usually means your a sleaze The term gronk is more commonly used by middle-eastern teens
  11. Well naturally that would be the first place to look... I have been on the rta website and it really isn't very helpful. Here is what it says "Examiners will check the following vehicle components during a safety check: Vehicle identification (AUVIS only) Brakes Steering and suspension Wheels and tyres Body condition Seats and seat belts Lights and headlight aim Engine / drive line Exhaust system Towing attachment LPG system (accredited examiners only) Number plates (obscured, faded, unauthorised) No dangerous protrusions fitted (brackets for spotlight, fishing rod holders etc). " My concerns are modifications, and how standard the car must be. The info on the rta website is too broad and not specific. Again, it will be appreciated if someone who has had experience with buying interstate can clear things up for me
  12. Hi all, I'm relatively new here, i created an account as i am in the process of buying a GTR and would like to join the skyline community Well looking for the right gtr (that's within my budget) has been quite a difficult task, and it looks likely that i would travel interstate if that right car pops up. Now i have done my research and am aware of all those additional costs that comes with buying an interstate car and registering it in NSW. My main concern is getting the car through an identity safety check (blue slip). I know NSW has perhaps the strictest regulations concerning what cars can get a blue slip, so i done some research - ran around asking a few mechanics and mates about what modifications can/can't be on the car and i had some inconsistent/vague answers which really didn't help my cause. I don't want to run the risk of buying a car which cannot be registered in NSW, so i am asking y'all which modifications are allowed and just how 'standard' does the car have to be in order to get a blue slip? Help from those that are in the know or has had experience buying a car interstate will be appreciated ! Cheers
  13. Nah i couldn't find that out, but that black gtr at Scotia looks very suspicious. The odo reads 58,000km but the car itself does not reflect that, it looks like it has done triple that
  14. Hey mate, I have also been looking around for an r32 gtr myself and i have seen those two gtr's at Lansvale in person. The black one looked in absolute horrible condition when i saw it. The white gtr's price was way too dear. Both cars were actually from Japstyle which closed down, but while it was closing down the prices was much lower. I had Gav from scotia talk to the owner of japstyle (think his name was ken) about pricing of the white one and over the phone he mentioned $18k, 2 weeks later i saw it at OC Automotive for $25k...
  15. im not sure what is up with those attactched pics, sorry for that
  16. Hey guys, The time has come for me to sell my Toyota Supra SZ 1995 model. Mileage: 98,000 kms Location: Canley Vale 2166, NSW Rego: March 2012 Colour: Black Transmission: Manual Price: 12,000 ono This car makes a fantastic p-plate car or a daily car. I have owned this car since 2008 and it has never skipped a beat. I have meticulously cleaned the car since owning it and had it serviced every 5000kms. The car has never had any mechanical issues and still drives as though it was new. The car has been kept relatively standard, just the way Toyota intended it to be, with the only modifications being; Engine 3" catback exhaust system High flow catalytic converter Body 17" Rays Volk Racing f-zero challenge rims Sound Kenwood double din headunit Kenwood speakers The reason for sale is because i am now looking to buy a gtr. I am asking for 12k but the price is negotiable. The car has served me very well and i would like to see it go to a good home. Feel free to call/text me on my mobile: 0432520071 Cheers Francini
