hi guys. i was defected a couple of days ago and all i need is a stock filter to pass make my line roadworthy.
can anyone please help me out? it will just be for a couple of days during the week. it would be much appreciated. can even spot some cash for renting it. location isn't a real big prob as i can pick it up during the night or whenever suits best.
cheers
yeah there is a black kia/hyundai cruising around my area.
performance mods as far as i could tell were a cannon style zorst and of course a GTR badge on the boot for some more ponies.
otherwise stock as a rock including wheel covers
honestly.........why?
*lost*
i was issued a canary yesterday since the tread on my rear tires were virtually non existent. but he also gave me a $165 ticket for driving an unroadworthy vehicle.
some of my friends say that you should only get one if you haven't fixed the car.
i'd just like to know if i could protest in any manner and not pay this fine.
hey guys... my knowledge is very limited when it comes to suspension etc.
so i have a one question. bear with me.
i have 265/40/17 on the rears and i notice that the tread on the inside halves of each tyre is diminishing at a quicker rate than that of the outside halves.
i bought the car as is with stock suspension although it is lowered (i have a feeling the springs have been chopped).
is this type of wear typical for fat tyres? or is it advisable to get a camber kit or something??
cheers
are they legal?
just got 2 for free and was thinking of swapping them with my excessively worn rears. they are dunlop winter sports. how do they compare your standard 'summer' tires.
skygirl, i'm in the camberwell/hawthorn area as well. i'll keep a lookout from now on. i'm usually at camberwell junction or the cafe's under glenferrie train station
well the st albans fella tested mine and was an approved tester. results where 87db @ 3200rpm. handed in the certificate today. hopefully there will be no more repercussions.....*crosses fingers*
