Hey guys. Bit of a noob problem here. I brought a OBX RB20/25 manifold second hand and it doesn't have a flange for the external wastegate on it. I have measured the diameter of the wastegate pipe (unsure if thats the right name) and it is 50mm. Therefore will I be able to use a 50mm flange and weld it onto there? I know it sounds pretty simple but I just wanted to check before I went a brought a wastegate and flange that was too big. thanks very much for your help. Regards Cody

It probably was yours, I was driving past and only caught a glimpse in the rear view mirror. Are you in Rosewood regularly? cause I think I've seen a 33 a couple of times.

Fuel Level Sender Cleaning R33 Gtst
A Grave Digger replied to DJSimmo's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
sorry to drag up an old thread guys, but would anyone know where I would be able to source a brand new fuel level sender? the one in my fuel tank has tabs that are too brittle to open and clean.... -
try getting some contact cleaner and cleaning the afm ( if you have one). I had the same problem when i first got my 33 and by changing the sensor and cleaning the afm im getting a lot better fuel economy

sonnyQ- yeah mate from Toowoomba to Ipswich every day. me_larr- I havent noticed any fuel leaking from anywhere but ill have a thorough check this weekend. Ill give the contacts a hit this weekend as well. This is with a light foot guys if I drive it hard ill go through a tank in a return journey. Got an O2 sensor from Vulture Motorsport on here, just waiting for it to rock up.

haha yeah ill have to find one of those somewhere Yeah mate just a stock ECU

Random question guys, what can i do to improve my fuel economy other than cleaning out the AFM and replacing the O2 sensor? I do a round trip of 160 k's per day and am only getting 300 k's from a tank

hey guys, I've just moved back to Toowoomba and recently brought myself a 33 gtst. Any suggestions on where I can get the guards rolled so I can lower it? Cheers.

Boost wound back to ten psi, new BOV installed, boost controller mounted properly and oil changed. Very productive day

Cheers for the feedback guys. Managed to pick up a second hand set of rims for it. I think they are work copies??? Not too sure. Also just got some tein Nr coilovers for it. Landscribble, I brought it from Hattonvale, about halfway between Ipswich and Toowoomba Dan I have absolutley no idea where that is so I'm going to say no haha. Justin, the new rims I got for it are 18's, so I'm obliged to lower it, as it's nearly 4wd spec now

hey guys Just brought a series 1 r33 As this is my first foray into imports I though I'd jump on here and get some advice from those who know I know the rims are shit and it needs more low haha but I've gotta get a roadworthy done first
