hey guys looking at getting these tyres, they are a semi slick, but still road legal. i know that on the road they'll get chewed up but they're mainly for a track car anyway. has anyone tried these out? i hear that they are really good... but being a street registered tyre also, was wondering if they need to be warmed up and how they drive in the wet... cheers

why dont you just fit adjustable arms in to replace? that goes for you too soft nuts
-
try www.kansaiautomotive.com and email terry he'll be able to hook u up with something...
-
thanks for the offer mate, i'll keep it in mind, but i'd like to see if i can remove the whole assembly firstly cheers

hi guys i've got a ceffy, and abs module is leaking, and needs to be removed, just wondering if i need -non-abs master cylinder -non-abs brake lines and should simply be able to swap over? also any idea if S13 brake lines would be able to interchange??? cheers
-
hi there i've got a ceffy, and the ABS module is leaking badly, i need to remove the ABS module as it is not needed anyway, does anyone have any idea how i go about this? thanks -Matt
-

hey want to know whats involved with removing ABS module as mine is leaking brake fluid badly and have to top up every couple of days or it'll get bubbles in it (foot pedal isnt spongey yet luckily) this needs to go, but i've been told possibly all the brake lines associated need to be swapped with non abs lines??? anybody done this?

got a sunroof from else where... another guy stripping a ceffy in SA, with good prices - BEN - www.japanesemotorsport.com.au - dont think the ceffy is on the site so best off emailing him!

alloy cradle bushes are da bomb izzle!!!

not much meat on mine then

ok i had a shot at this... not sure how it went as i havent tested it yet... so will see what happens... oh BTW that ratchet thingy you were talking about i'm guessing thats the thing right at the bottom in centre? on the actual shoe/pad things there was only a couple of mm thickness... so might have to change in future... ALSO - what colour are the standards? coz mine are purple???
-
started looking at it now... i'm guessing i have to remove the caliper??? to be able to remove the disc/drum?
-
this is correct for standard suspension... that is why cannot use stock s13 sus as springs are too soft... but with coilovers its all custom (more or less... or can change to whatever spring rates you want) usually with around 7kg springs up to a ridiculous 22kg springs which are available for some!!!
-
and 'if' by chance u do have caliper/handbrake setup best bet is to get new cables & change to better pads will try this tomorrow...softy you'll probably get a few 'i'm stuck - i need help' phone calls lol
-
well its done.... what a C*NT of a job!!! going to have to glue some of the roof lining back up in parts... but successfully removed it without tearing any of it... almost took me as long to figure out how to get the sunroof assembly physically out of the car (once removed) as it did to actually get it out the roof!!! had to remove front drivers seat... remove side brackets (3 each side off assembly)... rear seat was already removed - and managed to get it out drivers side rear door barely! definitely recommend 2 people to get it out the car lol... 1 person is a pain in the arse!!! now to get my other one and install... i'll try take pics etc - so it can be used as a future reference. cheers -Matt
