  2. Glad to hear another 100 on the road, I ve just registered mine and I know the one up in newcastle. All tourer V's came standard with the xenons and they do have to be modified to meet ADR's. regardless of year.
  3. Hi, I was just wondering if someone knows the production run of the above car and what differences it had to the standard GTR and Vspec
  4. Hi everyone, as the title says, I have 2 power fc's available for the R34 GTT. (computers only). They were taken out of the cars as they were retuned to factory for resale. One only has the box and instruction manual. I have driven both cars they came out of and they appeared to be working faultlessly. As its hard to put a price on them make me an offer above $400 and if its good enough I'll take it! Thanks
  5. Thanks alot guys youve helped me out alot.
  6. Hi all, I know this has been posted somewhere on here before, but can anyone tell me how to distinguish the differences between standard and Vspec GTR's in terms of VIN letters/numbers? Thank You
  7. The best plate I have seen to date would be HEDIED on a red Convertible Bentley driven by a middle aged woman.
  8. Use the starter... works for me 100% of the time
  9. Those photos belong in the skyline sales brochure! just amazing!
  10. Super Gimp, if you have been to Japan you will understand how much the culture has adapted to the western ways so dont start about the war influences. You have no right to state that just because some Japanese chose to live in Australia they should speak english full stop. My mother moved from Japan to Australia and has lived in Australia for 30 years, can read, write and speak english fluently but will never forget her heritage. F#$K everything comes down to the war bullshit. When Australia opned its doors to the world there was a shitload of racism but with everything it takes time for a contry to adapt and accept people from other countries. Japan just doesnt have enough foreigners. F#@K all this shit about my grandfather fought in the war and hates race X so I should follow in his footsteps blah blah blah... grow up and accept the world for what it is. War is good for no one period. If you stick out from the crowd, your gonna get stared at, just face it.
  11. Not much you can do but just keep topping up the level, Other than that its a reseal or replacement.
  12. If your turbo manifold gasket is leaking, you will definentely hear it so I would cancel that out. Sounds like a bad AFM or fuel pump to me.
  13. I imported an RX7 Series 4 Turbo through mark @ MY Trading. He was a pretty honest guy and guided me through the whole process its fairly straight forward. Just remember, you get what you pay for so pay that little extra for your car otherwise you will enfd up with a POS. Only a few things will need to be changed for a skyline, intrusion bars will most probably be needed and the most costly, CRA 's for the rear seats, dimmer switch, drivers side mirror, fuel restrictor etc... As long as the tyres have suficcient tread you wont have to change them. Shipping and taxes aprrox $2300 on a 390000 yen car.
  14. I would definentely be checking the Clutch master and slave cylinders first. check the fluid level in the resevoir and make sure you havent got a leak somewhere in the lines. Sounds to me like your master has gone kapput.
  15. Top Thread. Its great to read all your experiences on Japan. I have been to Japan maybe more than 9 times since I was a kid. I have relatives there in Kobe and Osaka. To the people out there still questioning about going, Let me tell you will have the time of your lives!!! I probably visit Japan every 1.5 to 2 years and have NEVER got bored of it. There is always something to do or see. In all honesty the cars would make up only 20% of what Japan had to offer to me, there is ALOT more to Japan than that. Make sure to take over a "decent" amount of cash if you plan on going as certain things are not all that cheap... Such as transport but you certainly get what you pay for, the trains and buses come EXACTLY on time, to the minute. What about the gangs!!! I couldnt believe what I saw!!! I can honestly tell you that I have NEVER seen any gangs in any of my visits... maybe because I didnt visit the rough areas, but as someone said, let them do there business and you do yours simple as that. Safety? It has to be one of the safest places on earth. everyone is welcoming to you and since your a Gaijin there sometimes tend to be alot more friendlier towards you. You CAN walk down the street at 3am and not worry about whos following you or if some pricks going to rob you, just the ocasional glance from someone wondering what a Gaijin is doing walking down the street of his neighbourhood!!! Well thats what I have to say about Japan and my experiences. I will try and post some of my pics if I can find any...
