Engine problems - Ok not an engine failure, well not yet anyway! Sent in a sample from my GTR after only 3000km from oil change. The results have freaked me out particularly the bit about possible piston wear. I guess she ain't new anymore but I am not sure what I should be doing about it any ideas welcome (yes I'm looking for suggestions such as 'she'll be right don't worry about it'. See my report here GTR sample

Agreed. Depends what you are after. Perth pricing is really quite simple the further away from the city centre you go the cheaper and likewise the further you move away from the sea. So the best way of looking at it is prioritising either - Proximity to city - Proximity to beach i.e if you like being close to the beach move further North or South until you hit your price range.

Just successfully brought in a Porsche but it was an '88 so got it in on the pre 89 'Classic Car' concession. Unfortunately this wont be available to you but give the DOT a call they are actually surprisingly helpful.

Suramatix, I'd be interested to know how you got on with them perhaps you could drop us some feedback or even put up the report. Alternatively, a mate of mine at work swears by roktex.com.au apparently they offer an easy to use kit with postage paid mailing back to the lab for under $30 with reports stored on their database for trending. I might give them a try.
