  1. Hey Guys, I got a bit over a month until I turn 21, so I figure I better start organising. :alcoholic At the moment i don't even have the slightest idea on what to do...? Anyone who has turned 21 and had a great party let me know what you organised, or anyone with a good idea..... So you know.. House party is out of the question as I live in the city in a tiny town house bearly big enough for 20 people. :rave: Let me know your Ideas...
  2. Yeah thats right it has a memory somewhere, it remembers the last setting it had before it was switched off. Does everyone else's gauge's do like a little flicker when they power up? And yes I did fit the grill looks great, much better since my original grill was stolen! :zap:
  3. Never mind, I figured it all out...problem solved. Turned out the washer on my Turbo Timer tap into the consol did not have a good connection and was screwing everything up. Anyways now that error code is logged in the HICAS Diagnostics, so it will report that code everytime I run a diagnostics... So how do I reset it? do I have reset the ECU?
  4. You can actually disconnect the colour change pad... So I use it almost like a remote control... if I ever want to change colour or dim I just plug it in and change it. As for the large dials, its a bit of an effort but the only way I could get it on was all at once... be very careful not to bend the tiny needle rest spokes poking out.
  5. Hicas Diagnostics returned a series of short flashes. pause, 2 long flashes. 1 short, pause. repeat. Which if am reading it right means error code 21 - Speed sensor not hooked up. Well i've taken the consol apart and had a look nothing seems to be amiss. The speedo still reads accuratly, and my turbo timer which is also hooked up to the consol can read the speed. So I have no idea whats wrong here? does anyone have any ideas?
  6. Installed my REV.EL dials tonight at my brothers house (coz he has a garage with lights) All seemed to go well until i tried to drive home. About a minute down the road the hicas light comes on and the steering becomes very heavy. We've got no idea wtf the problem is! The only thing we can think of is that we've unplugged something behind the centre console and not plugged it back in. The only thing we can see is a plug similar to the hazard light and dimister switch plugs that seems to have no where to go. Does anyone know what the prob could be?
  7. Vape did you take the light bulbs out the back of your consol to feed all the wiring through? if so this is the reason why your needles don't light up...
  8. Just got my gauges delivered to me now.... awesome stuff. I had to see what they looked like right away so I just hooked em up to a 12 volt transformer and they look fantastic. And a neat little control pad that lights up to controls the brightness or the differn't shades of green or blue can be adjusted via this. Great group buy Daryl
  9. got a working set... comes with an S1 spolier also attached. $90 silver paint perfect nik.
  10. Thought I would revive an old thread by Wiping rigga today. :burnout:
  11. Exactly right thanks inark, no way passed them without running them over (which in hindsight may have been a better alternative) I got off lightly too, other cars in front of me had people jump on their roofs. The orignial thread is still around here somewhere, I won't link it because it's not the original topic and I don't want to spark a racial debate. Yeah I looked quite the fool washing my car out in the street at 2am in the morning, but yes I can't imagine what would have happened if I didn't notice the egg with this Melbourne heat wave latly. Perhaps I should have put some bacon on there too, and breakfast would have been ready for me in the morning.
  12. Its a peice of piss, if you can get the car on some stands it will not take you more than 20mins to swap out a cat back exhaust. I also kept my stock exhaust handy for situations like this.

  15. Some of you might remember when I posted about a bunch of Greek's who attacked my car for absolutatly no reason leaving me with a $350 repair bill, Well tonight my poor car was attacked again. Egged to absolute oblivion, by a convoy of complete ***tards, one of them a disgrace to the name nismo. A crimson 300ZX brandishing large nismo stickers all over and other extreamly ugly stickers including a giant gold Z in the rear window. Also following a white open top suzuki vitara and a Honda accord, my neighbours cars were also egged as well also other drivers heading into the roundabout at the front of my house. Extreamly stupid and very dangerous. I have reported it, but failing to be able to see their rego's from looking down at them from the 2nd story the police told me they can't really do much. I realise the other 2 cars are a long shot, but if any of you guys spot the 300ZX take down their rego and give it too me, I will foward it on to the police.
  16. too much Tigger! haha I don't have a final sum yet, as I said im in the process of doing it at the moment. But I am expecting a total cost somewhere near the $3000 mark . Makes me wish I just bought a manual in the first place... too bad all the 2nd hand manuals are almost always completly thrashed.

Ah yeh, I got that PM but that was a few months ago now. Sent you another one recently didn't get a reply on that... anyways thats what I was talking about. But yeh with a detailed diagram and a normal GTR badge they might be able to get the idea on how the badge will look.

Im still waiting for FunkyMunky to get back to me the graphic designs of the badge. Unfortunatly he is ignoring my PM's? So I may have to draw up my own....?
