so the bad news for this week. according to my mechanic my crank shaft is f*cked an my easiest and cheapest way out is an engine swap. honestly i hate my life. anyone know of any dirt cheap r33 rb25de motors kicking around?

just having a think through this and i also thought of my other problem which was my coil packs were sparking up the sides of them. do you know how to check this?

have u had the injectors cleaned? if u changed the timing thingy so it was running rich as balls that would have fixed the problem. seriously it takes me 15 mins to have my fuel rail out and then u can get them flow tested pretty cheap. i recon its your best bet atm.

hey everyone. after having my 33 reversed into a few months ago i rebuilt her but i got an auto radiator for the better cooling. i have the pipes comming from the bottom section for the auto transmission but its doing nothing atm. is there anythign i can use it for. like the engine oil or something just to cool the system down for more efficiency?

yeah. got my hands on a second hand unit tomorrow and a mate who knows what he is doing. so im going to have to sacrafice driving till friday night but hopefully by then she will be fixed. only question i have. will the heater core leaking empty my entire radiator system? i had shit all coolant left in her. could a hose in the engine bay be split too?

how much are new ones? im planning on selling the car before i go overseas in 2 years time so im not looking to throw alot of money at it.

is it weird that i love you more than anything or anyone right now? when my heater core went this afternoon i called a mate who is a mechanic and he laughed at me and told me id have to take my dash out. i swore at him and then got searching. look a brilliant sollution. do i have to get my gas taken out though. im not too keen on that. only difference is i have such a bad leak that the car drains its coolant on a lap of my block. so first up ill have to dsconnect the houses from the firewall and re rout them back onto themselves to keep the coolant in.. then to the aircon guys. but still cheers.

yeah. ive found a guide on how to do all that. old mate mechanic also told me if i wanted to get away with it for a little bit i can disconnect the hoses going into the firewall from the motor side of things and join them together to close the loop. any tips on how to do this and where it all is?

i need to replace my heater core but if i get round to that (hopefully do it next week) im in for sure

hey everyone couple of symptons and ive got a diagnostic from a mate who is a mechanic but just wanted to check with everyone what they recon. so my r33 overheated on the way home from the servo. symtons: smoke from engine side no coolant passenger was having coolant drip on them steam through front demister vents mechanics diagnostic: heater core in dash is gone. everyone agree? what do i do to fix this cheaply? cheers?

its all sorted now. pintle caps were missing letting pressure push o rings out/

do what im planning on doing. save up 3,000 and dont spend it on your skyline. just buy a decent condition turbo s13 and take that out for skids when your bored.

took me a while but thanks xntrq. car is back together and ive resprayed most of your parts black for that carbon fibre look. i put my original silver front bar back on after drift stitching it back together. and im unsure of what hit it as i came out of a mates place, walked round the corner and there it was with the hood nearly bent back up onto the windscreen. so im guessing either vandals beat her up or a ute with a big toe ball went back on her.
