  1. it all started after i pulled the injectors out to check them. they need replacing (plastic bit on ones cracked) and yeah ignition is all fine, its a fuel issue. not including air as ive replaced the oily air filter and cleaned out as much junk as i can.
  2. really want to come but the skyline is way too sick to come out. it sounds like a subaru until it warms up and then it backfires to the point where i got pulled over and severly warned. and my power steering needs new fluid and im too poor for that. maybe next time.

  4. i wasted everyones time posting this. i put the hose between the plennum and the booster on backwards... derp a derp
  5. after putting everything back together after cleaning my injectors my brake booster isnt working. ive re connected the hose and clamps but its not working. any ideas?
  6. im too poor to get them cleaned. i just need something in my car to make it run. going to try and get the broken ones clean tonight (diy style) and then start her up and use them till i can afford new ones.
  7. in desperate need of a new set of injectors for my 1995 gts r33. they are side feed ones. located in newcastle. need them asap.
  8. just after some advice on cheap jobs i can do whilst the r33 is off the road. its a gts25 spec s. so i pulled my injector rail out today to find that some idiot has burred all the screws so i cant get my injectors out. so until i can get a mechanic to fix the screw issue im sitting here with my engine screaming for some maintanance. so far ive cleaned my throttle boddy and the section where the rocker covers butt up to. im planning on pulling my plennum off but its on tight and those pesky bolts on the bottom are being a pain. what else can i do that is inexpensive and will help with the running of the car. dont want to spend much money cause i have to pay for the injectors to get cleaned some time soon. cheers daniel.
  9. why even bother with these morons. i do the whole slowlying down to alot of people that tailgate but after a while it gets pointless cause we all know they will never learn.
  10. bit off topic but i got the fuel rail out today... most annoying job so far... and guess what. the screws that hold the little caps over the injectors. burred to the shit house. cant get them out. so someone should come fix it for me.

  12. just adding my two bobs worth but i have no trouble getting my ass out in my 33 with the hicas still attached. but then again my hicas might be dead. how do you check if its working?
  13. ive been to tough tune with my lancer (before it died). was only there for a dyno day that we organised. they day went down perfectly so i cant see any real problem with them. dont know how much experience they have with nissans though. they do have two s13s though
  14. will do. injectors are being cleaned tomorrow. if i dont brake anything in the process i should be good. mums birthday is the 3rd though so itll be cutting it close. what time would kick off be?

  16. hey everyone. just got back from holidays and im cleaning my series 1 r33 up a bit but all the work is boring me and thought it might be a good opportunity to meet some of the local skyline owners and get some ideas for mine. just tossing the idea up of a new years meet and maybe a cruise?

  18. from what youve described im having the same issue with my rb25de in my 33. ive had a couple of mechanics look over it and they all think its the injectors. but they want close to 400 bucks to remove them and clean them for me. so tomorrow im pulling them out and going to d.i.y clean them. ill let you know if it helps at all. i also re gapped my plugs and it ran better for a while. if your running bosch plugs through them to the shit house and get a set of ngk.
  19. ive got mates who have had them in the past and the general verdict for them is they are okay but if u can get a regular sub in a box to fit somewhere go with that option.
  20. need some more help fixing a small problem on the 33. ive bought two replacement clocks so far thinking they might be broken but now im thinking its the cars wiring. so i want to bench test the unit by making up my own connections. but i need to know what each of the four wires do? im guessing one is constant 12v, switched 12v and then a dimmer/backlight for when u turn your headlights on and finally an earth? but if im right which colour lead is which? cheers.
  21. hey everyone. couldnt really find a forum category for electrical apart from here. what im trying to find it how i connect my series 1.5 r33 to my laptop and what software i can use to run general diagnostics and maybe graph some data off it (paul walker style) overall car specs: 1995 series 1.5 (series 1 shell with all the series 2 goodies) r33 gts type s running the rb25de with about 149kw stock. atm im experiencing a missing issue and if its possible id like to find the issue easier as ive gone through quite a bit so far and no real luck yet.
  22. looking to get together the parts i need to convert me series 1 to a series 2. the parts that are needed from memory is: 1 x rio bar 1 x front bar (including the grill part and the indicators) 1 x set of headlights 1 x hood im from newcastle but im just about willing to go anywhere in nsw for the right price.
  23. hey everyone. about 25% of the time when i take my foot off the clutch with the car in gear a squeeking noise comes from the driveline and the shifter has a bad vibration through it. ive googled around and found people saying the same thing happens to them and its the throw out bearing? in that case would i be better getting an exedy kit and just replace everything. also heavy duty or just regular. im planning on getting an rb25det for it once im off my ps but i doubt my gearbox will be the same as a turbo one? cheers

  25. hhaha yeah we steer clear of the usual cop hot spots. havent had any trouble yet. but then again we dont have too many highly modified cars. our star car would be dylans evo 6.
