    Hi guys, I just got served an EPA notice. Blah blah yada yada saying my car was too noisy and was reported by a member of the Victorian Police. I honestly do not think my car is that loud and I mean really. Question is, could somebody (a member of the public) have reported this to the police who then reported it to EPA? Or it's true that some cop did this? If it was a cop, wouldn't they have pulled me over straight away? It's just a warning for now, but says that if I get reported again then my car's due for tests. WTF?!
  3. ARhhh...now I've got a bottle of STP to get rid off. I think I'll keep it for those times when I won't have Premium around. Thanks guys, think I'll stop using these things. For drag racing days, I'll use only Nulon Pro. Supposed to be one of the best besides toulene. If 98 ron is good enough, how much power loss is there since our cars are supposed to run on 100 ron?
  4. Doesn't sound too good to keep using those things. For the past 3 months I had them on every alternate tank. That means once a month. I think it's time I stopped wasting money.

  9. Hi guys, am abit ignorant about this. If you install a bleed valve and say you run it at 14psi. When running the turbo, does it creep past 14psi and below? As in...it's not that accurate? It may run at 12 or 13...sometimes it hit 15 etc etc.

  16. Ok I'm confused now. I know I'm using RedLine MT90 and that's my gearbox transmission oil. What's the difference between that and the ShockPoof Gear Oil? It's still gear oil right?
  17. Hey Bren, clutch seems to be abit stiffer then before, the action feels a tad it weird too. Not sure if it's my imagination or not. But will definitely think about getting a sports clutch in the coming months, and probably machine down the fly wheel. What was the name of that clutch you told me about? A Daikin clutch was it?

    Try a Black Widow, Python or a Viper. I think these are recommended by insurance companies. I had a warlock before on my previous car, and after awhile the buttons didn't work properly. Took it back to installer and was told that it was an inherrent fault and that the new ones should be alright.
  20. Yup that's the first run! Trembling like a virgin. Shite, I saw Ex took off..and thought..'oh do I go now?':D Next thing I knew he was 2 or 3 car lengths ahead of me. Man..what a rush...to see all that road in front of you and that nice kick as the boost comes in. I gotta do this again for sure!

  22. I've got a strange noise in my clutch too. When I press it, it goes away, but when I don't, it comes out. Some kinda bearing like noise? It's annoying me, and my clutch feels harder to press down then before

    Fantastic improvement Ni! Wish that I had let more air out of the tyres before I ran. I found that out too late and decided to leave anyway. I definitely need more practice for my launches. Kept launching at 2000rpms only and I was really consious of the christmas tree lights. Same setup as you, but .5 seconds of a difference slower! My friends were wondering why those V8s kept going, pffffttt...biasness?
