  1. 4-door sleeper: I've sent an email to Tim, will update you. Still haven't heard Sydneykid's, Steve's and others opinions re:this turbo. What do you guys think?
  2. 4door-sleeper, I'm with you. Probly can get a wee discount if he makes 2. Do you want to contact him first? Let me know how much Tim wants to build it. Cheers.
  3. Cheers on that. I'll definitely get bigger injectors. What are Sydneykid, Steve and Meggala's thoughts on this turbo? Sorry if I didn't include any other vets!Appreciate all inputs!!! :)
  4. Thanks heaps Freebaggin, so how do I get in touch with Tim? I probably would like the exact same setup as yours. 250rwkw with minor or no lag would be what I've always dreamed about!!!
  5. Cheers Chris, Seems that Freebaggin's turbo is producing an awesome result, for a bolt-on,internal gated and even on stock internals (if I'm not mistaken). Can't wait to find out where he got it!! Being a Garrett, I hopefully assume that it's cheaper than a gt2530 but I may be wrong.
  6. Found this in an old thread: "I have been upgrading my R33 GTS-T along with Grepin however I have GT30/40 internal gate Garrett hybrid. With conservative tune it has 253rwkW at 1.15 bar, with stock inlet and exh manifold, stock throttle body, stock cams, no cam gears. 550cc injectors, Microtech, FMIC." by Freebaggin My question is: WHERE can I get this turbo and for how much? Is it a bolt-on? How does it compare to the GT2530? (Mine's a R33 GTSt with FMIC,decatted exhaust, pod and I've just bought a Link ecu and a Bosch 910 pump). Basically I want a DEFINITIVE answer: What's the best (ie. cheapest, easiest to find and install) bolt-on turbo upgrade for my daily driver car to make 230- 240rwkw? I've been going through all the old posts and have gotten myself more and more confused . Need some help pronto!
  7. I was just about to post the same question: I've just purchased a LINK ECU and a Bosch 910 fuel pump for my R33 RB25det Other mods: HKS GT FMIC,Exhaust, pod with CAI and Heat shield. I thought what the heck, I'd save up a bit longer and get a new turbo and put everything on at one go. (It costs RM1k to retune). What would be the best option for a turbo upgrade at the cheapest price? I would like to get 230-250rwkw AND reliability for a car that will never see the track nor any street racing. Thanks
  8. Alright.....thanks for letting me know... 10-11psi it is then
  9. I plan to run 1 bar on my stock R33 turbo but I've got a few other things: 1. I drive slower than my grandma except for a short squirt here and there 2. HKS GT FMIC, exhaust, pod with CAI and heat shield (home made tho) 3. Full ECU + bosch 910 fuel pump 4. If I stuff my turbo, it'll be a really good excuse (to convince the missus) to get the GT2530 hehehhehehe
  10. Finally settled for a Link plug-in full management Also bought a Bosch 910 pump from Injectacarb for only AUD177 (no govt tax on overseas sales) Getting it tuned when they arrive. My tuner said he should be able to run 1 bar as I only go on boost occasionally and only for short spurts. Can't wait for 200rwkw!!I'll post my results later
  11. Hi, I've pretty much given up on where to find a Bosch 910 fuel pump here in Malaysia. Can anyone tell me which shops in Aussie that sell the Bosch 910 and are willing to ship it to Malaysia? Cheers
  12. Hello, I would like to buy a Bosch 910 fuel pump for $200. Also, looking for a GTS Link plug-in. Please contact me at [email protected] I'll pay for freight Cheers
  13. After initially wanting to install the emanage, then AFC2 and AVCR, I found a tuner here in KL who deals with LINK. He lived in Chch for two years, and has had dealings at the LINK headquarters in Chch. There's a standalone Link ECU specifically made for GTSs, and they sell it for quite a reasonable price. The tuner here also is quite experienced with the Link ECUs. So NOW, would I be able to get 200rwkw with: LINK standalone ECU FMIC 3' exhaust cat removed blitz pod+CAI+heat sheild R32 GTR fuel pump (for 1993 R33 RB25det that's done 90k with regular services every 5k and Mobil 1) :sadam:
  14. Guess I gotta get an ITC then, RM1600 here in KL. Anyone got a 2nd hand one, I'm willing to pay AUS$300 plus freight :Pres-hit:
  15. So I don't need an ITC for 200rwkw after all?
  16. Had a look at greenline, quite surprised that prices are more expensive than here! Anyway, still might go with the AFC and AVCR but adding ITC to the mod list. 200rwkw with that?
  17. Steve, always wanted a powerfc. But mines an auto (apparently powerfc won't work on an auto) Basically, the main problem to getting 200rwkw here in KL is finding a reliable tuner. And also the cost The same place who's giving me the deal for the AFC and AVCR quoted RM5k for the powerfc tuned. Anyway, need some more ideas on getting to 200rwkw using the least amount of money Anyone? Cheers guys
  18. Guys, I just contacted the ONLY authorised supplier of Apexi parts here in Malaysia, it seems they've got a good deal going on at the moment. AVCR and AFC-2, installed, tuned and guaranteed for only RM3300. (I've been to their premises, really good setup with state of the art dyno and experienced tuners). Seems like a really good deal since most shops sell the emanage at RM1500, harness will be extra at around RM600 and tuning at least RM400. Total=at least RM2500 for just the emanage. The only authorised Greddy tuner is located 400km from here. There doesn't seem to be many experienced emanage tuners around here. What are your opinions? Will the AVCR and AFC2 be enough for 200rwkw? (I'll definitely get a GTR fuel pump)
  19. Sydneykid and others, just a question about an urban myth: Can a Powerfc go into an AUTO GTS-t?
  20. Sydneykid, what about the GTR AFM? How much is the voltage range? Coz I probably can source a R32 AFM from the wreckers here. The skyline community here is very limited coz of the damn prices! I brought mine home all the way from Chch, NZ where I was a student. Very rare to see one on the road, but there are a few around, ranging from R32 GTS-ts to R34 M spec nur (Nurburgring). Usually owned by the filthy rich, but some enthusiasts (like yours truly) around. Oh, and there's quite a few RB20Dets transplanted into the older cefiros here too. *sigh* Wish I had modded and tuned my car in Chch, definitely would have dropped in a Link.
  21. The unit is in mmHg. To convert into psi multiply by 2
  22. Called the wreckers up here in KL: They've got a z32 AFM for RM400 and R32 GTR fuel pump for RM300. I think I might get them before getting the emanage and profec e-01 as they're cheaper.
