I dont mind a cannon if the car sounds nice. I cant stand them on shitty cars. A nice classy looking end muffler/tip cannon thing made by a decent brand looks good. An angled rps on a 1.5 soch civic is just gay.

Anyhoo down to business. The usual 100km service, done all my fluids recently but am going to get cambelt and others changed and water pump. My question is, in amny other threads people say you should do your "idle bearing". What exactly is the idle bearing? what will happen if it breaks, and how much more will it cost rather than having it done at 100kms? Thanks guys.

Bigger intercooler = in your case more power More power = more fuel Or it could just be that since you have installed the FMIC you've been givin' it stick.

After having not driven for a week, i started my car and its makeing a strange ticking noise. It speeds up if you rev it, and slows down to making the ticking noise about 1ce a second at idle cold (1300rpm) Cam belt? Something else? Im not driving till someone enlightens me Thanks.

Mine randomally drops sometimes. First few times i freaked out, but now when it does it, i just ignore it :S. I figure if i blow it up, ill have to rebuild with forgies. Oh no!

Im going to get a 38mm external wastegate, as i can get them much cheaper than retail. My question is, do i spend $100 more and buy a 38mm tial silver top one over the turboXS one? is it worth the extra money?

I keep getting a pool of water forming under my spare tire whenever it rains. Where would it be coming from, the boot floor and sides are not wet. Shouldnt the boot have a drain hole? Thanks.

O_O mine starts at second to top, and after a while it goes down to 2 at idle and under halfway when im driving. I think it has broken recently now, as sometimes it sits at 0 and my oil is still at a good level, no leaks and i havnt broken down. Im going to go get a aftermarket gauge.

Na im going in on friday to get some work done to pull me up to hopefully 190~ i just want to make sure im not going to get the whole misfire issue

When i first got my car, i got my spark plugs replaced with some laser platinums. I dont remember the workshop regapping them, what gap would these be straight from the packet, before i go and pull them all out? The are : NGK Laser Platinum Premium - PFR7B 4853 They are a silver pack with "Adjust spark plug gap to engine makers specifications" on the side. Thanks guys

After finally deciding on a fuel pump i opted for the walbro 255. When i went to get it installed (im too ***** to do it myself) they told me after they installed it they will check the current and may need to install a seperate relay from the battery. Ive heard that you need to do this with some of the bosch pumps, but is this really necessary, im only going to be running (hopefully) 190~rwkws. Should i just have them install it, then chuck it on the dyno and if the ratios are fine, not worry? or should i jsut trust them ? I just dont want to be ripped off.

In the market for a fuel pump now, and having looked around the site most people seem to upgrade to a 040 or a 044. Whats the advantage of these over the Walbro 255? the 255 is cheaper, and flows more than the 040. When i upgrade my fuel pump in my r33, is there anything else i need to get ie. regulator?

Its a new product from an established nz brand. They are going at $450. The people at the car parts place i usually go to said that they are a great product but i always like a second opinion.

After recently getting my intercooler installed i am now looking at a form of decent boost control and a fuel pump. Mods so far are: full 3" exaust, a'pexi pod and obviousally the FMIC. The question is, has anyone had any experience with the Gizzmo IBC? how do these units compare to the SBC-II? Not only is the Gizzmo much cheaper, its also supporting local economy. reading this thread has made me want to go out and replace my fuel & oil pumps :S

the switch at my left knee changes my horn from normal to one long tone its so crazy...

oh one other question, what core size should i be looking for?
