  1. I talked to him and said I'l order this on Monday morning... But my car effd up yesterday. Oil temperature is rising. seems my water pump has failed. Booking it into Xtreme motorsports tomorrow. :\
  2. Im going through the same issue now. For memebers who havent read the previous posts, il explain it breifly here. -I try to install boost gauge and in this process i snapped the vacuum line to the boost sensor. -so i drive the car without the sensor and everything seems fine. No more popping sounds from the exhaust. so i beleive the car is not running rich anymore. -next day i noticed that the oil temperature is going above 110. Theres steam coming from the radiator. Even with normal driving (barely any boost). Water temperature shows normal though. -i glued the vacuum line and installed the sensor. But the problem still persists. Very high oil temp, normal water temp. I flusehd and changed the coolant, but no change. Please help
  3. Wanted to buy Boost sensor for RB25DET motor for my R34 GTT. The little black box from Hitachi located near the BOV. Im located in townsville.
  4. Have you bought stuff from him? The price is great! $1165 delivered for BC BRs .. Thinking of ordering them on Monday
  5. Ok the boost gauge is in! I snapped the boost sensor line but its fix-able. Its running on 9-10psi already! Is this normal? I suppose there wont be much difference if I install the manual boost controller and boost it to 11.
  6. Yesterday. Silver R34 Sedan.. (A bit dirty lol) .. On Bruce Highway in Townsville.
  7. Thanks guys.. i've asked for a price from streettotrack.com.. BC BR it is!
  8. Doing this to mine today! Boost gauge and boost controller been sitting in a box for weeks.
  9. Thats great. I think I should stick to BCs then.. ideally I would've gone for Tiens, but I dont see the point cos I hardly use it on the tracks
  10. Not sure about the spring rates. The car is basically my daily driver but I do have plans to take it the drags soon. Didnt look at YSR mate. Heard good reviews about the BC ones and at $1140 its a good deal I reckon. http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=18623&cat=&page=8
  11. I really need coilovers and I've narrowed down to BC BR Coilovers from JustJap... Has anyone else got this on an R34 GTT? I'm concerned about the ride quality as I do a lot of highway driving. Also Im looking at a camber kit later on. Is this suitable with the BC BR coilovers?
  12. Bump.. can anyone tell me where can I get this? ebay doesnt have it.. Just jap says its discontinued.. Gah!
  13. Anybody keen to meet up some this weekend for a cruise?
  14. Just related to this, where can I get front guards (wheel arches) for my GTT? The car didnt come with it cos of the aftermarket front bumper. But I really want it to give it a cleaner look.
  15. I got mine over ebay. I think it was from Brisbane. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/120877630721?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
  16. WTB Greddy Dual Gauge holder for R34 GTT (Mounts onto A pillar) in good condition
  17. Hammer did work! A big one.. Used some anti-rusting agent before I put the new ones. I had to take the bumper off so I can get the car on the drive way lol
  18. I bought slotted rotors and new brake pads for my R34 GTT. Trouble is, I cant remove the original rotors. No matter what I do, they seem like they are stuck there. I thought the jacking bolts were 8mm, but when I tried with an 8mm its too small for it. Did anyone else have trouble removing the rotors? What can I use to make em come off ?
  19. I did this in a slightly different way.. Soldered T5 LEDs onto the board itself cos the holders for the bulbs were quite brittle. Here's mine..
  20. I'm looking at gettin a Turbosmart boost guage and mounting it on the A pillar with a Dual pillar mount.. (For my R34 GTT).. Is Turbosmart a good option? Just wanna make sure it will gimme accurate readings so I can boost it safely
  21. My front bar is quiet low for daily driving and I have to angle it like everywhere! (HKS springs @ 100mm but because the bar extends to the front, getting out of steep slopes is a pain!) A mate suggested getting spacer plates to raise the suspension up a lilttle bit. I know the best way is to get coilovers but atm Im a bit tight on budget and I cant afford 2grand. And I plan to get Tiens when I get some money. I could find spacer plates for Hiluxes and 4WD but its hard to find one for Skylines. has anyone done this before? Or is it just not worth doing.
