due to the lack of interest in it ages ago when the car was off the road, i decided not to sell it. A mate might be using it in autosalon. The cage itself IS an r32 gtr cage but was formerly in an r33 gtst. i bought the cusco bolts and backing plates off leo for $120 sent from japan. if you are after a new cage, give leo (chiba_osaka_boy) a pm. thanks

personally, i think they should make it law (like in the US) to have 3rd party compulsory at least . i would be pretty P.O. if someone stacke dinto me without coverage. i have had a few discussions with friends without insurance, and we hypothesised that if someone crashed into me and didnt have insurance but said they could pay month by month like a payment plan (which they said they would do) i would go ballistic. As if you would wait that long for some idiot to pay up. I have full comp and i have mentioned EVERYTHING. last thing i want to worry about is having to pull off parts and replacing them with standard. bottom line, if you dont have the money to pay at leastf or 3rd party, then get a car that you can. and for anyone not willing to pay the huge policy costs of full comp, you will regret it if anything does happen! thats just my personal opinion.

i suppose we will be seeing the same plates over but with letters replacing numbers. i am not a fan of this. yes it does open up the imagination to different plates but i still think its gonna be crap like majority of the NSW ones that people have done.

ASSAIL is right. never graduated cos i crashed the bike because some idiot who had the same bike doesnt like to indicate or look when changing and knocked me off! However, that idiot upgraded to a 04 CBR 600 which he is now selling!! And krastler, i already know that there isnt much between the 600, 750, and 1000cc's.

before you do it, i suggest you talk to someone who has it. the 3 people that i know, say its a waste of money. doors are heavy to lift and the struts wear out.

you got it wrong there col. GTR's aren't sequential. Supra's are as well as Legacy B4/GTB's and Cosmo's. Soarers arent. i think RX7's are. and i dont know about GTO or 300ZX but i doubt the V6's work like that.

it all depends on what you want a car for. for me, yes it is good. Expensive but good. As for strong.....you must remember you are after a car with 15 year old parts. It all depends on how the car was treated by previous owners. No car is unbreakable.

you cant really gauge the worth of a GTR as each one has a different history. Same rule applies to all cars. Just remember what a GTR was built for. You will be buying a 15 year old that may or may not have had a rebuild. Like already stated, dont buy the cheapest one you can find. Likewise, dont buy one if you can only just afford it.
