  1. Oops - had BBQ at friends house. That looks like his TV. My bad
  2. Also - I have them all at 72dpi 640x480 in this archive: Download ZIP - 2.4MB
  3. Photos: Sorry about the low res - it's the Photoshop auto-gallery thingo: Gallery I have all the driving photos at 1024x768 - and the ones in Apollo Bay at 2048 x 1536 @ 300dpi if anyone wants some silly-res images My email address is on the gallery pages.
  4. Predator: The run home was fun Ula32 and I gave the cars a good squirt - one of those 'glad I bought a GTR' kind of days. There was some traffic - including a truck carrying full Port-A-Loos (smelly) but we were able to get a couple of nice 'legal' runs - wasn't too often you could get above 100kmh. So sat on 80-90 around the corners most of the way. Lots and lots of fun. We caught up with everyone in Geelong too
  5. Thanks to you all - I had a great day Ula: Cheers for a good fun run on the way home. That 32 looked very mean in my rearview mirror. Must do it again.

    .

OK I'm going to be out and about that night anyway - I have a BBQ at a friends place in Sunbry. Why the hell not - its not as if I don't enjoy driving my car PM me with details. James
  7. I have ordered some new plates for the car (something more 'me') and so GTR-88 is up for grabs. See my for sale thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=11229
  8. These are currently slimline black with white writing. Perfect condition. They came with my car - previous owner was Chinese and 8 is lucky. 88 is even luckier I have ordered plates that are more 'me' - so these are for sale. Not sure about price - so PM me with an offer. 9. Just got my JPNZ manual - and yeah, its an owners manual in English. I'm happy. Handy to have - and has some funny illustrations on airbag detonation
  10. Who: James What: R33 GTR & the mighty Lada Niva Cabrio Where: South Yarra When: 1975 so... 27 How: [email protected] Why: Well yes, why indeed...
  11. Went through booze bus on Thursday - cop actually said it looked good (he had a GTS-T). Victoria may not be as strict? James: Will take detailed photo in the am and will find shipping cost of Cusco mount from JapanParts. Here is front shot of car. You can see the aluminium bracket above the 'GT' part of the plate. It secures to a bolt (just 1) in that position. I backed it with gaff tape so the numberplate screws don't scratch the paint Is very light aluminium and came with a cool Cusco sticker Very cool little part... but the DIY approach will achieve the same result and be much cheaper.
  12. inark: Yeah - I got hit by that same circumstance. I was in my car, so they pulled me over - did a rego and licence check - the young guy (the one without those stupid blue glasses) was being a bit of a prick. They took my licence and address details and said I could go... Lets hope that's it. Can't believe they gave you a fine for a P-plate. The car was parked! A-holes. We should catch up for a consolary drink during the week
  13. Baron: Thanks I washed it this morning. Not too many Schnitzers out there - is an E36? What is your plate - I'll keep an eye out.

    Why Blow Fire?

Mine is running rich also - will pop flame at high rev change between 2nd and 3rd. At lower revs will just 'pop' with occasional puff of smoke. I hate to say this - but I kinda like it
  15. Aw shucks Thanks guys. I like it lots too I can't take credit though - all the mods were already there... So big props for the previous owner. The offset plate is mine though
  16. darK: Yeah I know - it was just from driving down to Basyswater - a bit of water on the roads and... time to wash it again The only drawback of such a colour - it really shows when it's not spotless. inark: I'll bring my video camera next time. What power reading did Dave get? He must be over 300. Scariest car I've ever been in - very very cool
  17. James: I'll post photos in this thread. Won't be until later today though. Got some work to do
  18. Great photos inark. I like the one of Dave's car 'zipping' by
  19. Nice numbers people. Glad to see the Hammers didn't hassle anyone else. Was really great to put a few faces to names - looking forward to taking part in more events. Hope to see you all again soon. James
  20. Marcus: I have to say - Dave's car was very very impressive. Was a pity I couldn't stay longer... had to go to the airport. Will keep a lookout for your car - what power did you get? Hope the Hammers didn't give you guys any more trouble.
  21. Ethan: Yeah - mum's are funny like that. Dad was even funnier "you know son, you're going to pick up lots of chicks in that car... we'll have to go for a spin" Re: GTR-88 - The previous owner was Chinese - and '8' is a very lucky number. Two '8's is even luckier. Hence the '88'. BTW a '4' is the opposite - very bad number. I want to change it to something more 'me' - but still thinking of just the right one...
  22. Re: Photos. OK - will take some on the weekend Let me wash it first - is all dirty from the rain today. Here's one to tide you over... a family photo of sorts. Just want to say that I am neither of these people
  23. Sniffy: Righto. Shall keep my eyes peeled. You are Sth Yarra also? Will probably see you at Coles What is your plate? PM me if you like.
  24. Sniffy: Is 1997 series 2 GTR Vspec.
  25. Milk: I was there about 6.00pm - no R32 in sight. Friend lives in Pallant Ave - white Soarer V8 & white Prelude.
