  1. Ah - the Evade! Snowy and I had a good chat with the guy at the motorshow. How did it run? Back in March he'd never actually driven it in anger (which seems silly for a development car). I hope he has it a bit more sorted now.
  2. Nah - that's a 57. And yeah, hideous. If you're dropping over $800k on a land-yacht, why in hell would you look past a Phantom? Especially since when you roll up at the bowls club in a Maybach, people just think your Merc has been badged.
  3. The Shell roadhouse on the Hume Highway at Donnybrook has now closed (as of today, 22nd June). This was a standard SAU Team meet point for trips north to Heathcote, Shepparton, Winton and even Sydney. Let's all remember the dodgy bacon & egg rolls and seemingly constant freezing winds with a moment of silence... For cruise/convoy organisers - time to find a new meeting place!
  4. Yep - there's a few here. This one on Church St last month...
  5. You should pop in here and say hi one day Adam. Lots-o-Porsches all the time. Today... 997 GT3, 996 GT3 CS, 996 TT, road-registered 996 Cup Car
  6. Hehe - Justin wins! BTW - you forgot
  7. Over here you're more likely to see it on a Smart or Hiace than an 'R. That said - $10 says the first tuner cars to use this as a customisation option will be Autosalon specials, rather than enthusiast/club cars. -- Chrome vinyl wrap on the ex-FnF R34 GT-R... but forget Slylines - nice satin black wrap on the Mansory Conquistador
  8. Most signage places will do it. Learn more here - http://www.vehicle-wraps.com.au/home.html
  9. TB - speak to Jesus about transport on the way up. He's giving me a hand with a car and should have room. J
  10. ^ all officially running scared
  11. Here's one for the train-spotters... 993 based RUF BTR-2 These things basically invented modern turbo-lag
  12. There was a strange noise - so we took it in and found a 36 year old Italian guy stuck behind the gearbox...
  13. Went to pick up my G-Spyder from service today and was greeted by this... Suffice to say it wasn't exactly ready for me to take home
  14. I remember some years ago, a very confused Ash and Noof trying understand the humor of extraordinary magnitude as Snowy and I rolled around with hysterics in anticipation of the jokes ahead. It needs total concentwation. Ah - happy days...
  15. Just use this one TB... It'll be like a bear to a honey pot! Sarah Brisby has a nice ring to it too, don't you think?
  16. and the capital of Nebraska is Lincoln!
  17. Ah Sputs - been a long time comrade! How did you get on with that LHD airbag wheel for your friend's GTR back home?
  18. Haha - I think we should call you... Big Jim Slade!
  19. Hehe - a true masterpiece of cinema
  20. BTW Snows - i'm looking over a 4-leaf clover was never funny
  21. Hehe - keep up posts like this, and we'll have to send you to.... Detroit! BTW Kaz - the correct answer is... We're building a fighting force of extraordinary magnitude. Now lets all give Dr Klahn a great big hand! Oh, wait...
  22. Re: Cargraphic GT3 - It's a pig to drive slowly.
  23. Is AB's car. They needed 6-drivers to fill the GT3/RSCS category for full championship points to be awarded, and only 5 had entered. So... Weather was mixed, but I did well - as fast in the wet as some were in the dry. AB is an excellent steerer - impressive handbrake skills - but there was a 993 RSCS that might pip him for 1st. I could be as high as 3rd - not bad for a hack
