alright i just read this thing took me fckin ages. Was a good read but, basically all Shan is saying that his sick of these little punk's (iam little but not a punk) basically in commondore's seeing D1 pro's who have heaps of years of practice and skill and thinking they can go out and learn all that stuff in 2hrs and also doing it on the street which can cause massive problems if they crash. As seen by the dickhead that hit his mail box, it could have been worse, he may have hit his car or even crashed into his house.
Iam still 16 but iam in the process of buying a ex drift car currently owned by my bro. I dont think iam a fully sick drifter cause ill own a ex drifter, thats why iam saving my money now so when i do get the car i can pay for a few of the full lock nights and get some practice on the track not only to learn the basics of drift but to help me be a better driver when i get my P's plate so i can handle situations when something goes wrong and be able to controll my car in a manner than will not only save me from injury but also the other road users.
Also there has been massive hype in the media lately about Drift mainly from HPI, Zoom etc iam bagging these mags i have subscribsion to them, but as was said earlier they show the D1 guys doing drift but they dont show the massive crash's and dont say that it's only best left to the pro's and should not be tried on the street.
