  1. I can't wait to see them get "shattered" at ADR approval. lol
  2. Cool. Thanks mate. I guess my options are: GTR Steel guards and get them welded in - pay for some expensive custom mix already rare factory paint. Or. Fibreglass GTR Guards, rivet, more fibreglass, some bog, then some expensive custom mix already rare factory paint. Happen to know prices? Places where I can nab the Fibreglass guards? I'd like to go all metal - but Fibreglass is cheaper, and can be just as nice as steel ones if done right.
  3. Dead thread revive. Sorry. Just wondering - got a Type M GTS-T, that seems wider than normal GTS-T's. Are the rear GTS-T Type M guards the same size as the rear GTR guards? If not - how much larger are the GTR Guards. I can't get a definitive picture of a stock GTR and stock GTS-T in the same position to gauge differences - but they look really close. Anyone able to elaborate?
  4. It would be illegal over here due to placement. Unless it was on the car's build plate info.
  5. The one we did had a filter. That was the annoying bit. Didn't know it had "rollers" I just assumed they were gears. My bad.
  6. Yup. Visually it's bog stock. And I actually think a cop owns it lol. He doesn't break the law. Ever. At all. Sif. Doing 140 in a 90 zone isn't speeding. XD
  7. You didn't go for a ride in it. For an R32 it's clean, crisp, and even though the turbo is going out - it still puts down. He's genuine, and it's a great car, especially seeing as it's a Type - M.
  8. White R34. Across from the Penrith PoPo every day. Silver R34 driving past Officeworks/goodyear/autObarn, every Tuesday it seems.. White R32 GTR - seen it once. Wanna see it again. :-(
  9. I did a CVT 'Box in a V35 yesterday. They aren't amazingly hard, just if you put too much in the sensor has a fit. Little light on the dash came on - haha. Just sucked the excess out with a pressure sucker. The reason the oil is so expensive (someone correct me if I'm wrong) is the meshing of the CVT gears, not like a standard Trannie, and if you put the wrong oil in you can either ruin your gears by them getting gunked up, or by not being lubricated enough and shredding themselves. That's why you buy the Genuine stuff. We got it $750 on trade, and we waited almost 2 weeks for it. Any competent highly regarded Mechanic could do it if you want someone to be sure of (like.. a custom car mechanic, or well reputed workshop.) But anyone can do it - just be careful, and follow basic logic and you can't really go wrong.
  10. Oooh, that's mean man... XD But I wouldn't mind some racing lessons. :-D
  11. Pickity pickity pickities? Purdy please, she sounds real nice.
  12. Will do - lol. The reason I don't wanna spend over 8 is the inevitable modification to it. And I'd rather not ruin one that someone's put a lot of love into.
  13. Hey guys - looking around for an ok-good condition '32 Manual Skyline. In Sydney, or close by - as long as I get good pics, happy to travel PT and drive it back. I believe what I'm looking for is half decent for that price. In particular I'm looking for a GTS-T, but I expect that for an "ok" one I'm looking at the 8 mark. I nearly bought one for 5,400 2 months ago with a dent in quarter and one damaged (beyond repair) wheel on it, the rest of the car was A1, and had several mods, such as a '33 Turbo, FMIC, aftermarket "sneezing" BOV, with a full black interior. Only had 6 weeks left of rego though. lol. I am looking for one with longer rego - October/december-ish... So. 6-8 K for a GTS-T Manual, ANY COLOUR, No big ass body kit, and I'd prefer the wing still be attached. But as long as mechanically it's A1 overall, then body damage isn't a biggie. Thanks guys. :-)
  14. I know this is a bit far fetched. But I'm looking to trade an ok condition Body wise NA Supra for an NA R32 Skyline also in similar visual condition. Mechanically my Supra is great. But I really like the R32's - and was just wondering if someone here had opposite feelings for their R32? Sorry if this seems like a total joke to some of you guys - but I'm genuinely asking/wondering. Contact: 0431045486 [email protected] Supra: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/penrith/cars/1994-sz-jza80-black-na-supra-manual/1002255144 (Has had some more things done since those photo's - inspections more than welcome - needs minor dent repair in the A-piller and a small amount of paint - I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet - as I can do it.. just too busy)
