  1. Hey B-Man, good stuff mate... you'll grow to love this city. You'll need a vehicle identity check at either Sturt Station or Regency. They'll need to look at the engine number to make sure it matches what's suppose to be on the database. They're not specifically looking to defect you, but if your car is obviously unroadworthy you'll have the problems fixed and come back. So things like illegally tinted windows, etc. Adelaide International Raceway after much debacle is opening up again for street meets. There's Mallala our premier drift track. There's Country SA events. We've got a new torrens island motorplex being proposed and that's close to city. As for events, there's RallySA, Clipsal500, Bay to Birdwood, All Japan Day, Small Car Sunday, Autosalon Adelaide, Hotrod shows, etc. JMS is/was here. If you look around on the forums you'll see a few that are based in Adelaide. Boostworx, Graham West, are great places to get work done on your car. Selection of gear is quite good, I have mates come over from Sydney specifically to find parts for their cars. Same... idiots and enthusiasts, then you have enthusiastic idiots. Anywhere in the East. The West is great for a sea change, and is coming up very nicely. CBD apartments are great, and you'll pretty much always have something to do. Sorry can't help you there. Perhaps try over at sensational-adelaide.com
  2. Yeah totally, thanks to prank, the mods and admins for making it such an awesome place. I recommend we donate if we feel we've learnt a shitload from this place.. i know my knowledge of skylines has improved immensely solely from this site.
  3. Can anyone help me out?? I'm after a good actuator off a factory R32 RB20DET Turbocharger (the one set for 10psi). Thanks heaps!
  4. Me too.. just make sure our balls don't touch when we do it.
  5. Welcome mate.. grats on the nice ride.
  6. I've found this to be the best forum for enthusiasts too. Craps all over nissansilvia lol
  7. The problem you'll have is that they do protrude ever so slightly from the front guards.
  8. That looks sexy as Grant!
  9. That's awesome mate.. specs specs! (edit must've posted at the same time as you)
  10. Take it to Shuan at Boostworx. What's on the sheet? Maybe you could do some of it at home.
  11. Good round-up PJ!
  12. PSN Name : Howiefied If anyone's a COD4 and wants a game hit me up too!
  13. As above... ^^ That's what I was thinking. Having driven both, i'm equally impressed by the build quality of the 350z. Although the leather in the track model leaves a little to be desired as most of the 350's i've seen shows signs of premature wearing. Off the line the 350z feels great, but a modified 34gtt will easily take it. Still if I had a choice between the two i'd take the 350Z. But if you're comparing a R34 GTR to a 350z that'd be a totally different story.
  14. Even without help from the pros, it's as simple as removing the cluster, disconnecting the three wires connecting it and replacing it with something else. The odometer reading is in the cluster itself not the ecu.
  15. Ah sweet, that'd be me! I haven't been spotted lately since making her my weekender...
  16. Vikz.. weren't you looking at an airbox a couple of weeks ago in another thread? always the way with defects isn't it... :S
  17. Totally agree... that shouldn't be too hard to implement.
  18. Insane stuff Stan... RB2630 in an Auto no friggen way! Love your dyno clips. I'll be hitting up MV Automatics, next time my box is due for a service to get an shift kit installed. They seem to have a pretty good reputation here in SA and on the forums.
  19. Apparently this film was advertised as suitable for external applications (i.e. outside the vehicle). I mentioned this in the other thread, but before I applied it I tested it with an abrasion test by using Meguires Heavy Cut 8.5 on it, and secondly I tested it with a heatgun. It passed the abrasion test easily, and the film took up to about 100c from a heatgun before starting to warp. Hopefully this will stand up to our very hot summers.. but we'll see I guess.
  20. That's tidy mate Already despoilered too... looks like a good pickup.
  21. Could always clean it off and start again
  22. Agreed ^^ SA The Drift State.. definately needs jap plates. The Euro plates costs $150 annually... (*cough jip*).
  23. Here's the new general issue plates Here's the new euro I reckon they look like turd personally. What do you think?
  24. Yep, but you don't have to bash it that hard.
  25. Stupid c*nts, they probably tried the old commodore trick.. jump on the roof and the car doors open thinking it's been in a rollover. That's the lamest trick in the fking book and it doesn't work on skylines.. how stupid can you get.
