  1. Great stuff mate! Okay so going by today's exchange rate that is (103.90Y:$1AUD)... Or on historical rates (80.76Y:$1AUD at 01/07/2003) That's awesome value, considering you can get a V35 for roughly 30-40% cheaper than the equivalent Z33 350Z today on the 2nd hand market.
  2. But we're just trying to an idea on the sticker prices *new* from japan.. e.g. timewarp back to 2003 and I was a japanese guy looking at a brand new car, what was more expensive at that time? It's more of a curiosity thing, i don't care what's actually more expensive, just that I heard from someone that the 350GT was more expensive to buy new.. just thought i'd try to confirm that rumour.
  3. What you said there makes sense Bobby. I'm trying to get a hold of sales brochures for the 2003 versions of the Z33 350Z and the V35 350GT in japan.. having no luck so far. Would be interesting to get a definitive answer I reckon.
  4. Yes i've read that on G35driver forums also. That's why I was wondering what the price difference would be in Japan. But then again the G35 wore an Infinity badge, which automatically inflates vehicle price I reckon.
  5. Hey guys, Just wanted to get an idea of what was more expensive brand new in Japan. Take for example a : - Manual 6-Speed 350z 2003 Track. and - Manual 6-Speed V35 350GT 2003 Premium both optioned with 18" factory rims. Any ideas? Cheers
  6. Looks fantastic! Ironic, I just had to do something similar to my wife's corolla. All manual handwork.. even my hands are shiny now LOL
  7. Christ!!!!!!!! That ain't good man. We'll keep a look out.
  8. Just a headsup guys... SOLD pending finance. PM me if you would like to go backup bid. Thanks SAU!
  9. If there isn't a TCS module installed, then yes you could pull the light out, or find out how to fool it into thinking there is one installed. The member to speak to about this would be 666DAN - he's responsible for the TCS-off switch.
  10. Piece of piss mate. With the side blinkers, pull them using your fingers backwards (towards the rear of the car) until they pop out. With the fronts, use a flat head screwdriver and soft cloth, push into one of the sides and out it comes. Takes about 2 minutes each. There's also instructions on the nismo box.
  11. That sucks bud. I reckon that's probably not his skyline either..

  18. Had a look at the body work on it, there's no dents/dings/resprays anywhere on it. They've got a full log.. so i figured it should be alright for an a-to-b car. Thanks for the tip on the spare keys.. i'll be sure to ask them when i go back there.
  19. Actually mate, funny you bring that up. This was through Hertz. So they worked out on the road including 6mth rego, $15,700. What's your opinion on ex-rental cars? I mean my family are a bit iffy about them, but everytime me or my friends borrow a rental car we treat it with kid gloves to avoid paying the rental company for any dings and such. Thought so.. thanks for that
  20. Cool.. just wondering with new car warranty do i have to take it to somewhere like an ultratune for scheduled servicing rather than do it at home like I normally do?
  21. Well guys my wife has just put a deposit down for an 11/2006 Corolla Ascent (black/automatic) with 30,000kms and still nearly 2 years warranty left for $15,700. Reckon it was a good deal?
  22. My goodness... "the ride" has changed hands!!! I'm sure it's going to a good home.
  23. That's right .. if it's more convenient you can always grab from my place if that's alright with Luke. Btw, was gonna drop ya off some beer too Luke! haha.
