Hey the wharfies knicked 2 of my caps when i got my car over they are not the standard silver ones but they are a more goldy/dark champagne colour. HERE YOU GO i am a r34 GTT owner i went through the same question myself. Came down to this for me background i live in tassie! If you want the Times get a 33 GTR if you want to be faster than more ppl get a GTR if you want to say you have a GTR get a GTR if you want a better look (my opinion) get a 34 if you want a newer car than 97 get a 34 (usually less kms, less probs (touch wood)) this is what did it for me about 200 32's in tassie (guess) see couple everyday 100 33's see them alomst as frequent as 32's about 6 r34's in the STATE give or take a few way more unique and besides i just need something flogs the commodores doing blocks hahahaha oh yeah have to stick up for r34's um i didn't want to drive a boat would be a fast boat i could ski behind though cya cya

I think your all on the money. Nothing worse than slow drivers on open roads that make you try do some crazy overtaking. My Thoughts some legit some for fun 1. Make defensive driving courses part of L's at least 2 times, besides you get a discount on alot of insurance if you have with some companies. 2. make ppl going less then 20 under the speed limit pull over (my dads idea) 3. Anyone ever noticed that most acidents happen at night, so do a bit of both with the limits, increase the speed eg HBT to Launceston to 120 during daylight hrs then drop it at nightspecify some times that account for daylight savings, same way as they do at skewl zones. This would also make alot of drivers drive at different times so they can get there faster,where they shouldn't be drowsy and can see the road further ahead . Im sure we can get some of those electronic speed limit signs like the mainland on the freeways that change!! 4. common sense really if they road is windy don't try go 100 if its only easily drivable at 80 this = Education I bet the GMENT has not thought about businesses who have people on the road during work hours eg UNI where they pay you to drive from HBT to LST and back thats extra funds they have to pay because it takes longer. so business should jump on the GMENT back!! Hey all i recently got my car over from Japan 2001 R34 GTT and the car already has a HKS type 1 turbo timer in it. The Turbo Timer does not actually work it appears to count down but the engine does not keep running, i figured this may have been because it would have to have been disconnected for compliance. everything else works, speedo,revs, etc. just no turbo timer. so i pulled the everything apart as you do and the connections are all ok, all wires are accounted for and connected to the right spot. So i thought i would have a look in the turbo timer itself and this is what i found. it looks a little suspect to me (sorry they are a little Blurry) This next one is the wiring Permanent, Accessories, and Ignition all go to correct spot, it is earthed(black wire) i am about to check all the park break cables and safety cables but they appear right. If anyone has any ideas about this one let me know. Also if anyone is inclined to pull apart there HKS type 1 tell me if it looks as dodgy inside as this one especially the green wire on the bottom! cheers ED

Hey Guys not sure if this is in the right area, but i just wanted to get some recommendations on turbo timers. I have just got my car imported and of course i am wanting to start doing things to it. first thing will be the alarm and i fgured i may as well get the turbo timer hooked up at the same time. So what turbo timer do you recommend if you could get any brand and any model. and secondary do you think its worth getting a fancy turbo timer or just something that does the job. cheers

I am getting my halogens direct from nissan and then getting them put in for compliance but leaving the Xenons intact

Sounds like a neat idea but i doubt my compliance guy on the gold coast would go for it looks like i might have to go for a new pair from nissan cause its better than getting my xenons hacked at. cheers ed

I am looking for Halogen headlights to buy or borrow hehe for compliance and then registration and then i will put the xenons back in. any help welcomed whether it be lending me some or telling me where to buy or selling me second hand ones cheers, obviously they won't be on there for long.
