  1. Swaps for a freshly imported, low km, manual V35 with cash your way? But seriously, this is ridiculously cheap! Glws George!
  2. Because it's Friday night and I'm bored at home. Sorry for shitty pics, they're off my phone.
  3. Might help if you posted what state you're in or talking about mate.
  4. Close to, different grille and my license plate has a V at the start. Yes and no. That was already on there, I didn't change or add that. It was like that when I bought the car.
  5. Also probably should've said, I FINALLY got around to collecting my new plates..
  6. I'm not hugely cluey when it comes to this sort of stuff (still elarning) but one thing that comes to mind is maybe your previous transmission had a shift kit in it and the one you swapped into it doesn't. I know a lot of people with autos seem to do it as it's a good bang for buck upgrade. Just a thought.
  7. Never even thought of that as this is the first car I've had with built in reflectors. Not too sure on the legality of that.
  8. Tinting taillights is legal yes. I believe your brake lights just need to still be visable from a certain distance away so providing they're not too dark they would be fine. I can not however confirm or deny whether the 20% or 35% are legal. As for having more cop attention, someone on the fb group I also posted this to said he's been running tinted taillights for over 3 years and has never had an issue with cops. Don't drive like a dick and you would be fine I would imagine.
  9. Hey Charlie, not a clue on a black sedan sorry. In the link both 20% and 35% are available for all the taillight tints.
  10. Yes and yes. Correctamundo. Screw doing it on a V36. That shit's expensive!
  11. Welp, I got my pop-up nav unit translated to english today thanks to a fellow SAU member. Pretty happy with it!
  12. Hey guys, I've started a group buy for some tinted headlights and taillights for V35 and V36 coupes and sedans. Just gauging interest at this point in time so if you might possibly be interested please have a read of the linked group buy. V35/ V36 Tinted Headlights/ Taillights Group Buy. Cheers, Brenton.
  13. Hey guys, I've been looking at purchasing some tinted taillights for my V35 and I've decided to see how much interest there would be in a group buy. The seller is in the US so basically the idea was to cut down on shipping costs (like $22 for a single pair) after emailing the seller he has now agreed to a 25% discount if 10 or more pairs are purchased. In order for this to happen I will need a minimum of 10 confirmed buyers to have this go ahead. I will also be requesting for payment in full before the order is placed. Seller ebay link Start date: 4/10/2015 End Date: 30/12/2015 Prices are listed in USD because it's from an American seller so as the US to AUD $ changes prices may vary slightly, also please note that the overall shipping costs will be split evenly among all buyers. If this goes ahead I will have them shipped to my home address in Adelaide so those of you who are in Adelaide we can meet up and for those of you who are interstate there will be additional postage costs (shouldn't be more than a few $). Prices listed below are in AUD (less postage). The taillights listed below are available in both 20% and 35%. Example below: The available products are listed below: V35 Coupe Taillight Type 1: - $17.25 V35 Coupe Taillight Type 2: - $21 V35 Coupe Taillight Type 3: - $25.50 V35 Sedan Taillight Type 1: - $18 V35 Sedan Taillight Type 2: - $21.50 V36 Coupe Taillight: - $19 V36 Sedan Taillight: - $19 Other products also available: V35 Coupe Headlight Type 1: - $21.50 V35 Coupe Headlight Type 2: - $21.50 V35 Coupe Corner Indicator Type 1: - $6.50 V35 Coupe Corner Indicator Type 2: - $11
  14. I would be more than happy to have get togethers (even if they're not as big as this last one) a lot more often if people are keen.

  16. We we're talking about this when we were there last night. We reckon sometime during Summer and I also said about getting all VQ engines there (so stags etc) and going for a meet and lunch/dinner somewhere like a pizza place. It will most likely stay somewhere in the middle of the city though to accomodate those who are coming from both north and south (and east in my case).
  17. Decent turnout tonight guys. Thanks to everyone that showed up for showing up. Everyone seemed chatty and had a good chat with one another. Would be nice to do more like these in the future and here's a few pics from my phone (which is shitty at night pics sorry) but better than nothing. Thanks again for coming all.
  18. Yep, I'm more than happy to just let it fill to the first click and leave it after reading the above link article. But the problem still remains, it doesn't even click once.
  19. Nope. That's what I tried listening for the second time filling it up and couldn't really hear much. Possibly. I would doubt it though as 2 different ones at 2 different servos. I wouldn't have a clue. Is there any way to check without ripping out the fuel tank? Because I'm sure that's a huge pain in the ass. Shouldn't they come with one from factory anyway, even in Japan? That was the thought in the long run if I can't figure out why it's doing it. I'd rather not have to work it out everytime I go to fill up, granted I've only had to fill it up twice so far but even then, the first time (one the way back from the compliance shop) it was on bare empty with the light on, like the needle was at the very bottom empty line and I only managed to get about 57 litres in it (I think) when everywhere I've read they have a 65L tank. So it would take a few more times to probably work out how much I can put in it from where the niddle is sitting, not to mention probably spill it a few more times.
