lol benl1981 thats what happens after the turbo is balanced. they take a little piece off the nut when balancing.

u can use larger injectors on stock computer but it will run like a pig...

no use really going the cheap way, once u start modding it never ends, youll want more power after what you've done.

i have the same fuel economy as i did when it was stock standard with just a 3 inch exaust turbo back. and thats from a full tank to when it hits the last bar on the fuel gauge not under it.

i get about 550 to a tank. thats driving on the highway. plus with mods without computer yet in. thats a t70 turbo, 550cc injectors, bosch 044 pump, intercooler and all the other crap.

no real gains and not worth doing unless ur going over 300 rwkw

geez i got a front bar fibreglassed where it had some cracks and painted in white with pearl for 250 all up and not a dodgy job.

u can just buy an adapter plate to fit on to the afm. gtskoop im running an rb25det.if you want ill post pics of my engine bay on here.

my cars been modified and havent had the computer put in . Im running a t04 turbo right now and with the afm in its origianl position i suffered from stalling etc. so i placed my afm just before my plenum only place i could put it wth my piping setup, this was before reading this thread its been like this for about a month and a half now, ive had no more stalling problems car runs fine but its only a short cut until i get the computer in, its not worth the hassle of doing.. but yes u get loud flutter,i dont get the deep noise but a high pitch pewww peww louder than the vl's but yeah. other than that its not worth the effort. also my turbo hasnt suffered even though yes they do tend to get shaft play i havent had that effect yet, and im running 12 psi atm.

ok i dont have any blow off valve on the car. ive made a custom pipe that crosses over the engine as my turbo is high mount. but seeing how the car is modified the stock computer would be getting totally different readings,only fix i think is getting an aftermarket computer to adjust your air and fuel ratios.

ive recently put a t04 on my car running stock computer and ive got the same problem as you just dies on ide after i give it some throttle and it runs rich at that time. Checked for all leaks as best i could but nothing i had an exuast manifold leak at start but I fixed that problem and still had the stalling. Im going to see what happens after new computer is put in.

knox isnt that bad.. i stayed there for 2 weeks never got pulled over once.. never got pulled over at all in melb. only once n that was going down sky high just a licence check..only thing the cop said to me was to change my tyres cos they were getting on the bald side lol

lol na not yet theres a whole diff centre etc. on calais turbo but its $950 vl turbo diff 3.4.5 gears with a mini spool...yea hopefully after this week should be ready to start, but not run on the road...when u coming down again...
