  5. I wouldn't recommend replacing with second hand items. Waste of time will only happen down the track anyway. Generally 90% of RB's have had coil pack failures. Brand new Splitfires for that model are only $599 + $15 delivery to your door from us anyway (you're up north?). Flick me a PM if keen. Ben SP Garage

  9. No need to reply but we both know there are two sides to your story Funz . As for Nick and Andy being taught by the same person, not sure where that came from. Definitely not true. At the end of the day which tuner questions are asking for trouble on forums. If you're happy with your current tuner stick with him/her, if you're not look elsewhere. Ben

    Drift

It is? News to me . Drift Car V Time Attack Challenge will be FULL TRACK!!! 3 x 2 lap battles with 1 car from each motorsport type on track together roughly half a lap apart (ie. same format as indoor track cycling). PJ is now unable to attend, but never fear we now have Barwicks 600HP Yellow Torana (faster than O'Keefe this year I think). The RX7 is owned and driven by Chris McDermott. Just a reminder this is event is NOT only a drift event, 3 motorsport formats on show in the one program. Will definitely be epic and I will definitely be trying to win the drift car v time attack challenge . Ben

  17. Hi all, on behalf of Nick from GT Garage we would like to thank everyone that attended the day and congratulations to those who won trophies in the various categories. Once again the day was a great social environment and good to see a wide range of cars putting their cars on the dyno. It is events like these that bring the motor sport/car scene together so as long as the participation and enjoyment is there these days will continue to occur into the future. I will reply again later with some notable figures from the day. We look forward to seeing you all at the next dyno day, tentatively scheduled for some time in the next few months. Cheers, Ben

  23. Hi all, on behalf of Nick @ GT Garage a big thank you to everyone that attended and assisted on Saturday night. It was a highly entertaining event and GT Garage has already locked in a date for the next dyno day in approximately five weeks time smile.gif. Congratulations to Darren Anderson for taking the outright power and power per litre trophies. A great effort to come all the way from Burnie for the event. For those wondering about the accuracy of the dyno, it is as accurate as any dyno in the country. However in saying that a dyno is primarily a tuning tool, try not to get caught up with 5kw here or 10kw there. There are so many variables that can affect a cars power. Just for reference, R32/R33/R34 GTRs were all limited to 206PS from factory, the white R32 GTR V Spec 2 and the R34 GTR M Spec Nur both made within 5rwkw of 200kw at all four. Oh and Dave Michaelson's R33 GTR made 415oddkw at all four, not at the rears. Darren Andersons R33 GTR was run in RWD. Ben
