  1. I have a manual SR box out of a 180sx, smashed third gear to pieces. Was fine until then. I also have a busted 5 bolt driveshaft that will be coming out of my 180sx in the next few days. You want them both? If so PM me a price and we'll go from there.
  2. Ill use them in a few weeks when i go out again with a few mates for private practice . I have some 215/45s for this weekend. Would prefer 235/45/17s but no-one wants to sell any . Ill PM you to grab your number . Thanks again.
  3. Id just want the 235/40/18 Dunlops so theres two of those right? I can come up and collect in the next week if thats ok? Unless you're coming down for the super sprints this Sunday? *crosses fingers* haha!
  4. Have them? Sold! Where abouts are you though?
  5. Considering i dont know the bloke no i havent . Although Leigh gave me his number so i will give him a call and see what i come up with.
  6. Gday guys, i want to enter the HSCC Super Sprint day on the 12th of August, but there is no way in hell i can afford nor justify spending 1k+ on new semi comps that will probably sit in the garage for another 6 months after the event. Im hoping someone has some 17" and/or 18" semi comps lying about that they might consider selling? Sizes im looking for are 215/45/17 up to 235/45/17 and either 225/40/18 or 235/40/18. If it's any consolation these WILL be used seriously, i want to get as close as i can to a 60 second lap on the day (pending the arrival of a new radiator ) and i cant do it with street tyres. Thanks in advance, Ben
  7. For thrash rims 2.5k is a little too much haha! 10.5 +12 is just about spot on for the rear of my car too . Not running 10.5 +12s in the front of a 180 used on the track a fair bit, would rather the clearance and feel of 17s up front like i run now. Tuff rims if i could afford to drift on 4 spare rims worth 2.5k id take em. Just to let others know i have got my hands on some 33 GTR rims . Big thanks to Stu for coming up with the goods.
  8. He will be there all day. Same prices as last time. No excuses now people!!!!!!!!!!! For info on the day see HERE See you all there
  9. Gday Gerard, thanks for the offer mate, but if you're swapping them over they musnt have that much tread. Unlike most think you actually need a lot of grip for drifting and i try to drift on pretty much new tyres so they probably wouldnt be much good to me. I will be in touch if i get stuck for tyres though mate, appreciate the offer Thanks mate, have asked Stu for his number. Really appreciate the responses guys, is nice to get sensible answers to a question on a forum these days .
  10. 33 GTR rims? I dont mind a road trip in the KE70 haha! Hopefully the exhaust doesnt fall off this time! I wont need the tyres, will find my own once i know what rims i have for next weekend (if any lol!). Worst case scenario i will contact you early next week to organise . Fingers crossed i can buy someWork Equips short term, but wont know til the weekend about those. I really appreciate the offer, will be in touch either way . Ben
  11. Yep been onto Stu, he sold them . Rolling organised .
  12. Sitting in JDS right? For that kinda cash id want half decent offsets for my car. Throwing 1750 for a set of rims that i dont want isnt my cup of tea. I wouldnt want the tyres also, would just want rims only as id be using 235/40/18s. Thanks for the quick response though . If i am correct and they are your wheels then i may have found a seller for you anyway . Looking for around 9" and below +35 offset. Would ideally prefer 18x9.5 +12 or 17x9 +0 but thats just getting picky.....
  13. As title states. Need some ASAP (within a week!). Would prefer 33 GTR rims, but am pretty open at the moment as i have no rims to drift on next weekend. PM or call me on 0408782632. Cheers. Ben

  21. Roughly ~$150 an hour as an idea. If you are serious about Nick tuning your car PM me.
  22. This day will run exactly like the other drift practice days in Tasmania. IE: Is NOT run as a CAMS event, thus not requiring the usual requirements such as a CAMS level 2 licence, pass CAMS scrutineers etc etc. WHERE: Baskerville Raceway WHEN: Saturday April 28 TIME: 10-4 To make it clear this is NOT a competition, there will be no top 16, no judging just everyone going out and improving their drifting techniques on the track. Passengers MAY be allowed for driver training purposes ONLY! (will have to check to make sure they are happy for us to do it again). Practice will be in the form of single car runs ONLY (ie. no tandems). Tandems are not allowed due to track insurance reasons. Basically there would be no insurance should two cars be drifting in tandem, because of this it is single runs only. There will be a drivers briefing at 9:45AM. ALL DRIVERS wanting to drive MUST attend this briefing before heading out on track. There will be 30 minutes at the end of the day designated for all drivers to assist in sweeping the track surface and edges to return it to an acceptable condition. ALL DRIVERS MUST PARTICIPATE IN THE SWEEPING OF THE TRACK! REQUIREMENTS: The entry fee for this practice day is the same as it would be if you were going out to do some practice laps, which is $55 IF you are a member of a Motorsport Tasmania & CAMS affiliated car club such as the Hobart Sport Car Club or the Light Car Club of Tasmania. IF you are not a member of such club the fee will be $90. The fees are to be paid on the day. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: ADR approved helmet long sleeve shirt (flame retardant) long pants (flame retardant) appropriate foot ware (doesn't have to be race boots or cover the ankle) and a general road/track worthy car NOTE- (IF THE REQUIREMENTS IN BOLD ARE NOT ADHERED TO A ONE WARNING SYSTEM WILL BE IN PLACE SO ONE WARNING THEN YOU'RE OUT OF ACTION FOR THE REST OF THE DAY) The following safety items are recommended, but not 100% required: fire extinguisher and metal bracket battery and tow indicator (stickers) secondary bonnet restraint ANY competitor will/can be asked to leave the track if found not following instructions of the day or doing the wrong thing that would danger themselves and others. This can and will result in the person being banned from the track and future days. For further details or clarification of anything written in this thread feel free to PM me. Cheers. Ben PLEASE NOTE- THE AVAILABILITY OF TURN 3 FOR THIS PRACTICE DAY IS STILL UNKNOWN AS OF 11/4/07, WE HOPE TO HAVE A DEFINATE ANSWER INSIDE THE NEXT WEEK.

  24. You will only hear good things about Nick, you will not find one single person in this state who has anything bad to say about his work i can confidently say that 100%. My car as well as his 180sx will be at Baskerville on March 31 for the state series promoting the business a little bit too . Never hurts to get a few stickers on the car at a major event like this to further raise awareness...... Look forward to hearing from you Leigh .
  25. All these people wanting Power FC tunes. All you ever need . Have the latest version of the Apexi Dataloggit software so no tuning off the hand controller and is all obviously in real time . You want proof of how good Nick's work is? In regards to tuning, my car 261rwkw SR with a stock motor that has done 3 drift days with this tune on 1.3bar (as well as had been running ~200rwkw for 18 months before the retune) and a mates CA which makes 232rwkw, which Nick also built the motor for from the ground up . The thing that sets Nick apart apart from his tuning ability is the fact he will go through and explain every detail of the tune with you as he is doing it and will ask how you want the car tuned. If you're not happy with something it can be rectified in about 30 seconds via the software. He is even retuning cars that have been tuned down here already by local businesses. Can do guard flaring anytime anyday in about 3 weeks time too . Again i can show previous work to demonstrate the quality of my work . Hope this helps with people's decisions .
