  1. I think 510rwkw is the most so far, not bad considering he's been open a month haha! RB26 with GT4294R will be tuned next week, should go alright . Yes consecutive. Boost adjustments are fine . No major adjustments though as time for each car is limited (to ensure everyone gets their go). Cheers. Ben
  2. NOTE: THIS IS A 4WD MAINLINE 1200HP DYNO, 2WD & 4WD CARS CATERED FOR!!Entries are limited, PM myself or contact Nick on the details listed in the flyer above. Hope to see you all there! Should be plenty of 300rwkw and 400rwkw cars in attendance! May even see 500rwkw+ . Cheers. Ben

  8. Hi all, Specialised Performance Garage will be closed over the christmas break during the following dates: CLOSED FRIDAY DECEMBER 25 (Xmas Day) - REOPENING MONDAY JANUARY 4 On behalf of Jonathon and myself we would like to wish everyone a safe and relaxing christmas break. We look forward to assisting everyone with parts and accessories for your cars in 2010 . Regards, The SP Garage Team
  9. Hi all, changing a few things on my drift car for next year so have some parts out of it for sale: 1) 94 - mid 96 180sx Blacktop Apexi Power FC with Hand Controller Perfect working order, has been in my car since I bought it brand new 3 years ago. $1,000 2) Nismo 740cc Injectors to suit SR20 Perfect working order, also in car since bought new. All flowing spot on 740ccs. $600 SOLD PENDING PAYMENT 3) Cusco RS 1.5 way diff with 4.1 ratio S13/180sx housing (centre and/or housing can be used in R32 GTST) In my opinion the Cusco RS 1.5 ways are THE BEST diff for drifting. The car does not get unsettled whatsoever with any forms of understeer that you get with a 2 way and is very easy to drive around in a daily. Very progressive initiation of the diff engagement means the car does not get unsettled whatsoever on acceleration or deceleration. The diff is in mint condition, still as tight as when I bought it new a few years ago. $850 (think these sell new for $1500ish) Will have alloy subframe collars and a few other things for sale shortly also, just need to get them out of the car. Located in Hobart, Tassie. Contact via PM or 0408782632. Cheers. Ben
  10. Hi all, have an ORC 409D-02N to suit RB20/25. The clutch centre was originally solid, however I had it changed last week to a sprung centre to lessen the strain on the driveline. The plate thickness is basically as new (4.8mm I think they are). ORC clutches are the bomb, perfect for drifting and still really streetable. $950 (THESE RETAIL FOR $1300+) Contact via PM or 0408782632. Cheers. Ben

If anyone ever has any suggestions regarding possible items to stock or recommendations for the business we are always open to new ideas . In the meantime, due to the success of our sale we have a few items left to clear before xmas. Nothing in the thread below is RRP, some items up to 60% off!! SP GARAGE 1 YEAR BDAY HANGOVER SALE! Regards, Ben & Barnzy Specialised Performance Garage

  14. Hi all, this thread is to gauge interest from people who would be interested in upgrading their fuel and oil catch tanks to custom items fabricated by Aaron at AzCustom Performance Fabrication. Since installing the custom fuel surge tank situated within the spare wheel well in our own SP Garage Nissan 180sx we have received an amazing amount of positive feedback and this has led to Aaron considering manufacturing a small to medium sized batch of the same style of surge tank with fittings to suit peoples requirements (any type of fitting can be welded on). These surge tanks are CAMS approved when sealed correctly using 6mm perspex etc (see CAMS manual for further information regarding external fuel setups). Pics of the surge tank design can be viewed below: Aaron is also looking at fabricating oil catch cans to suit in particular S chassis vehicles, however the design of the cans (situated where the standard battery position is located) should allow the cans to be used in most makes and vehicle models. These cans will be CAMS approved and be a minimum of 2L in size (will probably be approximately 2.5L). The cans will vent to atmosphere via a small air filter and also be available in any fitting type available to suit various applications. Pics of the catch cans to come shortly. Prices will be between $200-$300 for both items to provide a rough ball park figure. Please express your interest in this thread. Cheers. Ben

  22. Gday guys, as the title states have a pair of R32 GTR rear driveshafts and R32 GTR rear hubs. Both are in mint condition. Selling them for what I paid, $500. On that topic I also have two 180sx GP Sports G Sonic front bars for $20 each. Condition of both is pretty much the same, the centre lower piece of both bars needs to be reglassed (both middle sections are pretty much broken away from the rest of the bar). Just want them gone. Located in Hobart, Tasmania. Contact via PM or on 0408782632. Cheers Ben
  23. This day will run exactly like the other drift practice days in Tasmania. IE: Is NOT run as a CAMS event, thus not requiring the usual requirements such as a CAMS level 2 licence, pass CAMS scrutineers etc etc. WHERE: Baskerville Raceway WHEN: Saturday, April 19 TIME: 10-4 To make it clear this is NOT a competition, there will be no top 16, no judging just everyone going out and improving their drifting techniques on the track. Passengers WILL NOT BE allowed. Practice will be in the form of single car runs ONLY (ie. no tandems). Tandems are not allowed due to track insurance reasons. Basically there would be no insurance should two cars be drifting in tandem, because of this it is single runs only. There will be a drivers briefing at 9:45AM. ALL DRIVERS wanting to drive MUST attend this briefing before heading out on track. Throughout the duration of the event there will be NO CARS allowed across the track UNLESS there is an emergency OR a valid exemption (which must be approved by a committee member before the gates will be opened). There will be 30 minutes at the end of the day designated for all drivers to assist in sweeping the track surface and edges to return it to an acceptable condition. ALL DRIVERS MUST PARTICIPATE IN THE SWEEPING OF THE TRACK! REQUIREMENTS: The entry fee for this practice day is the same as it would be if you were going out to do some practice laps, which is $55 IF you are a member of a Motorsport Tasmania & CAMS affiliated car club such as the Hobart Sport Car Club or the Light Car Club of Tasmania. IF you are not a member of such club the fee will be $115. The fees are to be paid on the day. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: ADR approved helmet long sleeve shirt (flame retardant) long pants (flame retardant) appropriate foot ware (doesn't have to be race boots or cover the ankle) and a general road/track worthy car NOTE- (IF THE REQUIREMENTS IN BOLD ARE NOT ADHERED TO A ONE WARNING SYSTEM WILL BE IN PLACE SO ONE WARNING THEN YOU'RE OUT OF ACTION FOR THE REST OF THE DAY) The following safety items are recommended, but not 100% required: fire extinguisher and metal bracket battery and tow indicator (stickers) secondary bonnet restraint ANY competitor will/can be asked to leave the track if found not following instructions of the day or doing the wrong thing that would danger themselves and others. This can and will result in the person being banned from the track and future days. For further details or clarification of anything written in this thread feel free to PM me. Cheers. Ben PLEASE NOTE- IF YOU DO NOT ASSIST IN THE SWEEPING OF THE TRACK AT THE END OF THE DAY AND ARE NOT GIVEN AN EXEMPTION TO DO SO THEN YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NEXT PRACTICE DAY.
