  4. And being Japanese should weigh less than 100kg Don't know about boost level but it overfuels to compensate...need a PowerFC
  5. Not quite stock but only running Air filters Exhaust Boost restrictor removed Expecting a 13.5 to 14 sec time
  6. What's the bet I'm asking about a new clutch tomorrow Tried 4000rpm launch once and it bogged down
  7. Yeah I have but not for a while First time with the GTR One mate has a 5.7 Monaro the other a Forrester Anyone have tips on best way to launch a stock GTR?
  8. Geez that's early I thought racing started at 7
  9. What's the best time to get there to enter? Me and a couple of mates are going to have a run tomorrow night
  10. Sorry if it's been posted before but GTR V's the R8 http://www.topgear.com/content/features/st...ories/07/1.html
  11. I drive an Audi fitted with a DSG gearbox. It is brilliant and I imagine the GTR one will be as good or better. DSG is not an auto. It is a manual gearbox with auto control of the clutches whereas a Tiptronic like in Falcons etc are auto boxes with an add on manual type control function. There is no way to crunch a DSG gearbox as when you're in first gear second is selected ready to swap clutches. Changes happen so fast that the exhaust pops on the change up DSG IMHO is the future as the DSG equiped car is faster in a straight line than the manual equiv. And in kickdown mode there's no contest. My car will kick down from sixth to say second or third in an instant while a manual driver is still hunting a gear and matching revs.
  12. I've ordered the R35 but if that became available and looked as good as the sketches I'd be there for sure.
  13. Adam Changing your Avatar is inexcusable !
  14. Thanks Adam Good read Ignore the dickh#ads
  15. I didn't know that a lightly moded GTR would do 12.2 Might have to take mine to WAW and see what she'll do Was expecting a 13.5 from mine which is highly likely
  16. Geez I stood up for ya and the thread and then you ended up talking about cheese Keep the thread about the R35 (only off thread talk about boobs is permitted)
  17. Geez chill mate give the guy a break Keep your tantrums to the kiddies section as well
  18. Dam wish it was red. Would love to see that colour in the metal
  19. Even with my Skyline blinkers on I'd have to agree. Would love to be proved wrong though. Would the 180k limiter be an issue on that track?
  20. I heard that Nissan have refused to turn off the speedlimiter. As it is based on GPS could be hard to bypass. Anyone else heard this?
  21. Well this fat middle aged old bloke ordered one over the weekend.
  22. I refuse to go to wife swapping partys No one drives my Skyline
  23. That's OK you can say it about me (52) driving my GTR
  24. I think the same everytime I see a young guy with no F#cken idea and even less ability demonstrating it to all and sundry whilst driving a Skyline. (Is ageism a word) Jim Richards is a Grandpa and could whip all our asses. Age has nothing to do with it Sorry this really is a dumb thread Anyone who shells out $150k on a R35 is obviously into the car not the badge. Yes, I'm a grumpy old bast#rd today
  25. If you were an Aussie living in Japan could you still buy a new GTR and then bring it to Aust and license it on the road prior to Nissan releasing them here? How long do you have to keep it in Japan?
