then its got me mc****d what turbo i actually have then .. if its not a rb20 one ..and it doesnt have the markings of a RB25 and its not VG30 turbo of a 300zx..... what in the hell is it off? ..... if anyone can confirm it for me.. id appreciate it ....greatly matt

nah just that .. 0898 04U then a 6 only other marks i could find was a number 1 on the section behind comp and exh housings.. man these things are confusing. Cubes .maybe u can give me some pacific measurements of diameters of the exhaust hosing ..might be easier ? Matt

.. doh .. didnt think to look on the front side of the exhaust housing..... it has 0898 .. the 04U and a 6 or 9 however which way u look at it further around on the snail.... :S

on the inside of the compressor outlet it has a 3 .. dunno if thats just a factory thing .. but Cubes vg30 turbo has the same ...... on the exhaust housing .. it has a C that was all ..... were Cubes one has a E and OP6 .... wasnt told what year it came off..so i dont have anymore info on it to give Matt

i';ll have a look again .... anything inparticular i should look for ..like numbers or soemthing? failing that i'll ring up and abuse the guy i bought it from.....:S Matt

like i said .. i'm not sure .. to be honest.. i bought it as advertised VG30 turbo what makes me think its different to the rb20 one is the acutator (similar to yours and the casting numbers on the comp wheel..... but the elbow on the turbo and the dump pipe it came with ...and also the distance between the front of the exh housing and the back of the comp wheel is slightly longer than the rb20 one on my car........ but it almost makes me think its a RB25 so i really dunno ..

id liek to run 1bar thru the stocker .. but fuel cut is a pain redtop rb20 cuts at 12 ... dunno if i should just get a FCD and hope for the best. Matt

i believe i have a VG30 turbo .. but i still cant be sure .. i was told it was.. but i like to be 100% sure .... it looks very similar to the one cubes has pictured. but the rear wheel isnt steel like earlier VG30's .... much like Cubes Cima one again .... i was told it came from Justjap some months ago .. i wanted to fit it to my rb20 .. but i cant get the bastard water lines undone... bent a 22mm spanner trying to undone the outer water line banjo bolt. aint that a bitch! 108rwkw with 3inch cat back and a FMIC? that sounds pretty 5hit house man my ageing 88 model redtop rb20 made 116rwkw with 3inch exhaust and pod. the rest was stock i was at the understanding that most silvertops will making that much (110-118rwkw) in bog stock trim. have u had your compression checkd on your engine? far as i can see .. its as per factory r32 gtr...no marks ...very good condition. came out of an engine and was sent straight to me.

only thing i would be concerned about is what u have to do to get it roadworthy and registered? damn good price all the same. Doesnt say anything about suspension mods.... coz the arse end looks VL sled styles.... and HEY easy on the poo farm gags... it only smells like shit on friday afternoon in the summer.....:chairshot:

awesome man ..i'll keep an eye out for ya around hoppers/werribee .. i'm in hoppers looks like u have z32 afm ..going by teh orange tag its got.... should have plenty of poke ..depends on how much boost u running and what injectors are on board. at a guess ..comfortabley u should see ..if the supporting parts are up to it ..250rwkw.. maaaaaaaaybe.. less maybe more .. depends on its tune ..... wouldnt try and push much more into it if its standard bottom end.. unless its been rebuilt already nice purchase btw...
