  1. I've changed the factory head unit, working on fixing the sound from the DVD as the plug is an 8 pin mini din, which I need to convert to an aux/3.5mm headphone. Other than that the DVD is good it's an old aftermarket unit but that's fine
  2. How is the video and sound input to the screen/stereo? RCA/s in the rear of the LCD?
  3. Another question, just read the Asuka install thread. Why is it necessary to keep the original tuner? Does the original tuner have some required software or something?
  4. Yea the aftermarket device is the DVD player above the glove box, someone has ripped out the factory one and installed a DVD player which works perfectly (sound and picture). When I change to TV/DVD the factory head unit automatically changed to AUX, now I'be got an aftermarket head deck and need to look at changing around some wiring/cables/plugs etc. Also looking at ditching the stock TV tuner in favour of something more modern and powerful.
  5. Thanks I'll have a read
  6. I don't have a rear camera
  7. Thanks. So the RCAs are in not out, hmmm wonder what's going in? Possibly the DVD player in the small section above the glove box? I thought the DVD player would link straight into the back of the pop up screen? Also what's the White plug above the grey power plug/cable? Anyone know how many amps it uses? I know it's 12V not sure on Amps. Thanks!
  8. Hey everyone, is there a pin out for the rear of the TV Tuner or anyone able to tell me which plug is for what? I would say the grey one is power and the RCAs are obviously Sound (picture too)? I'm gonna guess the grey, green, black and red near each other are possibly the aerial? I may be wrong on some of that but still not sure what the rest are if I am right, any help would be great. Cheers
  9. When I bought my MCA I thought (incorrectly) that all M35 coilover kits converted the rear to a proper coilover and also that MCA is a well know/respected brand that make quality products and wouldn't sell something dangerous and/or of inferior quality. Along with reaperblitz I thought the change in suspension was to make room for larger compartment not due to load sharing, after all OEM springs are generally quite a lot larger in diameter than aftermarket coilovers hence would require a large shock tower which would take space away from the rear compartment.
  10. Yes I should have used better wording, wasn't entirely what I meant.
  11. Nothing is strengthened. I thought BC were a coilover rear too? The only thing I didn't like about my MCAs is that I've maxed out the spring adjustment and it was still very low so now I've had to use the lower mount to increase height. I was concerned about using a coilover instead of having them separate but I guess I'll have to see how it goes.
  12. Sounds good, what radiator did you go with? Any pics or links?I think I'll have to do coolant bypass mod soon, will read up on the process first, pretty sure there's DIY on here somewhere....
  13. Looks good, what brand did you go with? Does it still retain the trains cooler section in the bottom? Also what needed trimming?
  14. I hadn't thought of streeter. Seems like easiest thing is to see what V35/350Z peeps have done
  15. Having a huge chunk of air sitting there ready to go will help improve response/spool.
  16. I had a quick look at the 350Z pages the other day and I think they said 2.2ohm or 2.7ohm, will have more of a look.
  17. Yea it's an M35, R32 was my old car
  18. Light went away for a few seconds (probably while it was scanning and thinking or whatever)
  19. Already have, still on. Suspect it's due to the seats being changed so nothing for the yellow plug to plug into
  20. Hey everyone is there anyone/anywhere that sells the airbag harness to get rid of the airbag light once aftermarket seats are installed? If not I'll just try a 2ohm resistor, would prefer a neat plug if possible though. I've seen posts about NISMO making a harness, can't find anywhere actually selling them though. TIA
  21. For sale I have a pair of front seats for an M35, they are factory grey/black cloth in great condition. They come with Aldi seat covers which they've spent most of their time in. They don't have the seat belt buckles but do still have the rails. Location is western Sydney, due to size and weight pick up only. Open to offers looking for around $120 but open to reasonable offers.
