Hey fellow wagoneers,

Just wondering cause i used to have one for my commondore & found it heaps of help, especially when diagnosing faults or working out accelleration.

Any help would be appreciated.

exactly what do you need logged?

I use a HKS Camp, and it logs up to 400 minutes worth of driving on a 2mb card. Basically logs all the readings the ECU puts out like throttle, speed, a/f ratio etc.

You get a cable from http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/consult_if.shtml - but don't bother with the datascan software as it isn't very good. Mine (with real time charting, ability to replay logs, etc etc) is being tested now, should be read in another fortnight...

It can save anything coming out of the engine, for as big a hard disk as you have on your laptop (ie longer than you could drive on a tank of fuel..) :-)

It will be on www.iqconsult.net

I won't mind testing it out for you. An objective view could be good for your software & if it's as good as you say it is, I'll do a write up of my experiance & send it to you so you can stick it on your website as a testamony . I'll make up a cable in the next few weeks & give it a go.

If you want to test your cable, download the demo's that are already on my site. So far they have worked with both serial and usb (with serial adapter) cables.

Should be more demo's up there soon.

    • I think Fitmit had some, have a look on there (theyre Australian as well)
    • Hah, fair enough! But if you learn with this one you can drive any other OEM manual. No modern luxury features like auto rev-matching or hillstart assist to give you a false sense of confidence. And a heavy car with not that much torque so it stalls easily.
    • Actually, I'd say all three are the automatic option. Just the different trim levels. The manual would be RSFS, no?
    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
