Its easy, Jack the car up and put some car stands under it.. have a bit of a look. Unbolt 1/2 of the tail shaft first... then unbolt the flanges either side of the diff (there will be 5 bolts)

Once you do this, Look at the back of the diff, and there will be 2 bolts, unbolt them. The diff will still sit in as there is 2 more bolts supporting it up the front. Un-do this bolts, but dont completly undo them, then if your strong enough, hold the diff into place with one hand, and undo the bolts with the other hand, and slide if foward. The diff will then come out... and your done. Hope this helps

Its really easy

I put the stands on under the chasis rails behind the diff area mine go quite high so it was about a meter off at the back. first remove the exhaust pipe, mine had a flange just in front of the diff and then remove breather, then, with hand brake on, loosen all the bolts on the drive train (5 each side of the diff and 4 on each end of the 1/2 tail shaft) I took off the bracket that crosses under this shaft to make it easier to remove it, and remove 1/2 shaft. Then the 2 bolts at the back are really hard to get at, I ended up putting the socket on the nut then putting the extension in to undo them and when you get to a certain point take the socket off and undo by hand cause you cant get the nut out with the socket on it!!! then I put a jack under the diff undo the fornt two bolts and push it forward while lowering it. Getting it back in is tricky but not difficult if you have some to help, I didnt and it took 3 goes. Rassemble is not complicated as the parts are self aligned. If you need any more help PM me.

    • Bit difficult to follow. Have a look below and see what the standard R32 layout was like. Note there was a restrictor in place immediately before "turbocharged pressure control solenoid" that, if removed, magically got you 1 bar boost.
    • I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.
    • Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?
    • This looks great! Awesome to have the 5 speed with an LSD in this. The Recaro's look like SR2's or SR3's. It's a shame they've been retrimmed as they would have looked sweet in their original colours. I think I'd want my agent to be a little more up front and informative too. I've never imported but I reckon it would make me a little nervous, so the more info the better.
