Did anyone know that there are Undercover cops driving a unmarked WRX around?!? I saw one this morning on the parkway, two cops dressed casual driving a dark blue WRX, sirens on the bumper flashed blue/red alternately ( I only saw a glimps) pulled over this other Rex. I know that there is a white WRX police car but didn't know that there is a unmarked one. Anyway just warning people....

Yepp, and there's a black unmarked 2001 model WRX going around too.

It has mega dark tinted windows. I saw him pull over a car that went through a red light at the Woden Hospital lights.

The WRX had the normal red and blue flashing lights in the back window.

You've really got to watch out these days, they're everywhere :D

Next time anyone sees one, write it down so we can get a little "list" going of the plates :)

eliteopps: good point about the tints! one rule for them and another for us hey! I got followed by a cop car but i didn't think it could be one cos one of the front headlights were blown. i was gonna tell him when he pulled me over, but i didn't want to push my luck hehe.. Is a blown headlight an offence? ;)

    • All my Polish car culture insight comes from watching Nightride. So I half expect this to get 1UZ swapped eventually?! Are you going to drive it in winter? I'm always curious how ATTESA would hold up in the snow. There isn't that much opportunity to try it in Australia.
    • My steering lock unit on my Infiniti G37 has failed. The car is a local 2012 Infiniti G37 (Q60 ) I need to replace the unit My local mechanic said i need to buy a complete steering wheel assembly. Does anybody no any mechanics in Gold Coast or Brisbane who can fix this issue or where i can buy just the Steering lock control unit. Thanks
    • thanks, will conduct myself accordingly. i unfortunately put about 150 miles on the car before reading this thread again, however no PS issues, and definitely no turbo issues. it spools normally and still feels fast to me, probably because my previous car was an N/A auto sedan...gonna go fix the PS vacuum line though lol. safe to say, got what i came to this thread for. thanks
    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
