GoldZilla
I'm in the same camp, although I would still like a set of wheels (and suspension lowering) to add to my car. I like the whole street-sleeper thing - as far as visuals goes, that's probably all I'll do externally. And any internal mods will have to serve a purpose without standing out too much as well. Stealth stereo upgrades are on my to-do list, as well as some Defi black-face gauges (or similar) in a DIN holder, and the rest of my spending will go into performance work. My car has a standard front bar, but no side or rear skirts or rear wing. But that's fine, as apart from the ride height I love the way it looks! Once again, congrats on getting the car going, you've obviously put a lot of time and effort into it! Brad, I have friends of the family living in Bayswater, are you anywhere near that? Brad, I have friends of the family living in Bayswater, are you anywhere near that? hey mate my house is the opposite side of perth, right up north near joondalup which is around 100km from bayswater. thanks for the comments too. and alex well to get it on was easy as, as my driveway is sloping down to the road, so when the trialer is halfway down the driveway, the trailer is level with the garage floor area the trailer does have a winch too to pull it up, but we just pushed it, though once at the worshop to unload it and we had trouble with it being soo low, and the ramps were on a huge angle and the exhuast and chassis bottomed out so we tried to pull it back on and the the muffler gets caught on the trailer edge so we were spewing, but luckily we had 2 longer planks to make the angle of the ramps alot less and it just managed to get it off with a little scraping oh another note is my stagea is exactly the same length as my vs commodore and wheel base the same too which is suprising, and i got a trailer first off that had ramps that flicked up in the air at the back rather than the pull off ones that are stored underneath and the car was wayyy too long to fit with the ramps up. cheers Brad Edited March 16, 2006 by CruiseLiner Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/109851-ready-to-rumble-d/page/2/#findComment-2026014 Share on other sites

shanef
Awesome work Brad, must take alot of patience One thing i have noticed though, what type of hose clamps are you using for the cooler piping? Caus last thing u'd want is a cooler pipe blowing off on boost... N I B
We are thriving on our oppositions attitude and experiance in WA so i can understand your frustration,Tho your tuner is very good at his job. Lane is so busy because his well liked with the rally mob for good reason.Does make it tough on road customers but the rally work is his bread and butter. Sydneykid
Take your time Brad and get it right. Don't rush to show it off, it will get there when it is ready. I know it is frustrating, but nothing good comes easy, particulary when it comes to highly modified cars. cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/109851-ready-to-rumble-d/page/2/#findComment-2033288 Share on other sites
