if you are a member of www.offtopic.com, head over to their "That'll buff right out" section and have a read of some of the product reviews the guys there give (There are a fair few professional detailers in that forum, who do FANTASTIC work... main one is ScottWax)

Try AutoGlym Ultra Deep Shine. Based on their Super Resin Polish, it does a friggin awesome job especially on darker coloured cars. AutoGlym is made in the UK, and I can highly recommend their whole range of car care products :D

Havent used the New tech wax ( I assume thats from the NXT generation range?) but ive been using their products for a fair few years until recently......

Switched to Zaino, the difference is amazing. Cost is a little higher but the results are jaw dropping.

Well I have used the Meguiars NXT generation tech wax stuff, and it is easily the best product I have ever used personally. My car is dark blue but it is very bright underneath - you can only really see this in sunlight or under certain lights.

My paint job was very neglected when the car arrived from Japan over a year ago, and I have tried so many different things on it that it wasn't funny. But this stuff was amazing. My paint went from being blotchy (the brightness underneath was blotchy, not the surface), dark, dull and boring to being even and absolutely brilliant. It is really bright now and just looks fantastic. The shine produced is also much better than any polish i've ever used. The best $40 i've ever spent. I would happily recommend this product to anyone with a dark car. I also notice that the bottle version of the wax (this is what I used) is larger than normal bottles of polish.

This product gets nothing but praise from me :D

a friend of mine has a black r33 s2. went to autobarn and asked which wax is the best... the sales guy tried every single wax they had on his car. and meguiers tech wax was the best.

my r33 is white so it probz doesnt matter what wax i use... but the tech wax is what im gonna buy!

After using the wax, will the swirl marks on a black car just come back after several washes?

I just dont want to spend time on it only to have the swirl marks come back anyway.

basically, yes

the swirl mark are always going to be there, the wax will just create a temporary layer that disguises them for a while.

Maquires Clear Plastic Polish is some good Sh!t also, S2 33 headlights come up a treat, not to mention the the rear lights!

I heard about this too, so you just buy this stuff (wax) from any car shop and then just polish and wax with a cloth at home on top of the headlights without taking them off?

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
