Hi all

I have a used exhaust for sale. The flange is from the differential back (I am keeping the part from the cat to the diff).

It is a quality stainless steel japanese exhaust, brand unknown. The flange is 3", but the piping is 3.5" ALL THE WAY. Unlike cheaper systems, the piping, and the section through the cannon muffler is 3.5". Hence the flow is not restricted as it goes through the cannon.

Makes a great sound, not overly loud, a nice rumble to it. Fairly light weight, especially when compared to the stock muffler. Only one scratch on the bottom muffler (see pic), else the exhaust is in excellent condition.

If you look at the pics you can tell that the exhaust hangers are hollow to save weight. It is pretty much the same design as the Fujitsubo PowerGetter for the R34. I am pretty certain it will fit the R33 without dramas as I have put on a R33 exhaust onto my R34 before.

Location is Sydney, price is $200.

Straight bolt on for R34? Where you located in Sydney? Pick up asap for $150?

Actually.. want to sell the whole cat back? Getting a pipe from cat to the above might be abit fussy.

Sorry the rest of the exhaust is actually on the car, cant separate.

All you need to do is go to a local exhaust shop and get them to make the part to the diff, pretty easy job and shouldnt cost that much. The most expensive part is the muffler.

I am pretty firm on 200, anything less and I might as well keep it to interchange with my existing muffler when I feel like a change as its all bolt on/off.

So its not a straight bolt on? The stock exhuast on the 34 GTT from cat to rear muffler is one piece then?

It is bolt on, ie. it will bolt onto the existing hangers and even the hanger near the rear sway bar.

You just need to get the piping made up for it from the cat to the point near the rear sway bar or diff.

Sorry when I said bolt on I was implying direct replacement, i.e. take off old component and 'bolt-on' new exhaust.

Will have to consider it now as I thought it was straight swap. PM me with lowest price you're willing to sell or if you don't end up selling.

Thanks,

Andy

    • Perfect, I'll get to it this winter then at the same time as I weld on my anti squat kit.
    • Alright so my 32 only has one temperature no matter what degree you set it to. I’ve tried disconnecting the servo motor arm and moving it either direction and got no change. I’ve fixed the leak in my AC and re charged it and with it on and clutch engaged it still blows hot even though the low pressure pipe going to the firewall is ice cold. Both heater core hoses are hot while running as well. Diagnostic code showed 24 for intake air temperature sensor. Anybody got any ideas?
    • I said Garrett style. Not Garrett genuine. And something in the G30 550 range is what you want. Not those pokey little old fashioned T28 sized things. The intake ports in the head are small. There is little benefit in fattening up the runners and leaving ths actual ports small. Just run what you've got. And on the subject of Nistune vs Haltech etc..... You know you can control the transmission with decent standalone ECUs these days, right? No need to keep any of that old Nissan bullshit. Don't get me wrong - I use Nistune on my Neo. But it is a DET, so the number of bodges and workarounds I had to do to make it work in a chassis without ABS, TCS, etc, is quite small compared to the herniated arsehole you will have trying to make it work on a motor that doesn't have some of the things that the turbo ECU wants to see. Just easier to bite the bullet and go aftermarket outright.
    • Hmm. Only when the f**king thing is actually working. Still can't find the leak. And that's with dye being put in the last 3 times!
