Manual Boost Controller

hey,

I've got one of those GFB manual boost conrollers,

trying to install it on an R33 Series 2.

I tryed pulling of the 2 hoses of the stock boost solenoid near the air box and i didnt feel much difference, then i was told it hes to go on the wastegate hose, did that and still seems to be running stock boost,

do you guys know where it needs to go?

There is also an arrow on the gfb controller which way should it go?

To increase the boost do I tighten the screw on the controller with an allen key or loosen it?
