OK, so I'm going about this the wrong way, but, what the hey!

We have booked the local skid pan for Sat 20 May and I have booked the Stagea in for a dyno tune up on the Friday 19 May. This is to tune in my Jaycar DFA and IEBC.

But before I spend mega dollars on a dyno, only to repeat it down the track, I want to bring forward a few wishfull mods - ie a split dump pipe and 4' cat.

I think I have the split dump sorted - will use the photos on the other thread as a template and make my own - or am I biting off more then I can chew? If someone has one for sale I would be interested to hear about it.

Plus I wanted to go down the 4' magic cat path. Is there a group buy happening? SK? $210 is a steal - a mate phoned them in the middle of last year and they were around $500 then.

Should I be searching for sale items in another forum?

Change of plans have been forced upon me.

Broke two valve springs on the Mini 1275 this arvo and the valve dropped into the combustion chamber. The rest is history and so are the upgrades to the Stagea.

I really dont want to look inside the head or it might make me cry.

Especially dont want to lose more knuckle skin after having just pulled it out a month ago and put it back in 2 weeks back. At least for now the motor looks shiney with new paint on the outside.

There are PSI "Metal Cats" that are available that bolt-on to R32, R33 and R34s, so I guess it's just a matter of finding one the right size for the exhaust you intend to use... Might be worth chasing up, I dunno.

    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
