Extra Info: as the topic suggests im after a medium sized intercooler. so something smaller than the usual 600x300x75 core specs. im after a jap brand (hks, apexi, trust, etc). main reason for this is their flow and light weight

yep. this is my requirements.

1. intercooler needs to be smaller than 750mm total length
   
2. core size to be as big as possible while being under that length limit (so something about 500x270 like apexi ones)
   
3. in/outlets need to be coming out straight (not at an angle like evos nor curved like GTR coolers)
   
4. aiming for a jap brand because a) they flow very well at higher boost pressues (will be running approx 15-18psi) while performing efficient cooling and b) they are lightweight

I have an Apexi but its over your budget, its very thick (135mm i think) and about 600x230 from memory, if you are keen let me know and i'll measure but its double your budget .

Yes GTR pipes and i have a set of silicon pipes as well.
