Exahaust And Turbo Gasket Replacement

hey guys,

just wondering if anyone have any infor as to how to replace the gasket on the turbo and exahaust for a r33 gtst 1995. my mech reckons its leaking and possible reason for the loss of power and turbo under performing. he also said something along the lines of having two gaskets, in and out gaskets. i should have paid more attention. also how much is a gasket kit for it. thanx in advance.

easy to replace.... there is a metal one between your turbo and the log manifold, and on the back of the turbo going to the downpipe, is another one. not sure on the prices, couldnt imagine it to be expensive..

remove your heat shields, and look under them... if its sooty, its leaking. easy.

i'll give it a go. a leak from any of these gaskets will have consequences, but can it cause the turbo to underperform or run at low boost.
