BDF1663
Hi All! With regards to the above matter, I would very appreciate if I can have some feedback/advise. You see, I'm getting a set of JIC coilovers (not sure if they are the SF-1 or SF-2 series, see attached picture) for my 'new' Cefiro A31. But after hearing mixed comments, I'm having doubts (but it might be too late already as I've already paid deposit. Would appreciate if someone can also confirm if these are the SF-1 or SF-2's. Please advise. Tong. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/120185-jic-coilovers-sf-1-or-sf-2/ Share on other sites

BDF1663
Thanks Resin! By the way, my name is Tong. I'm from Malaysia and had recently bought an A31. Stripe it down and did a complete build up! Its almost complete now and I'm looking for a set of coilovers. This JIC came to me in the Website. So I need to know more about this brand because I'm hearing some bad stuff about this brand. The official website is currently down so I don't have any reference. I know this might have probably been done before but can someone share with me what is their suspension setup? This is a daily driven car... no chance of heading to the track. Resin
Yea personally i wouldnt get them .........i have had nothing but trouble from them ........the s1's might be different but yea the rears were designed badly on the fl2's which cause clunking. If u want more information type JIC coilovers and knocking/ clunking into a search engine and read the info on it. Theres heaps of stuff about the clunking ...and its to do with the rubber mount top version not the spherical tops. oh and if its daily driven ....find out spring rates cause most of the jap coilovers will be too hard for a daily driven car and u will soon regret putting it in. Read some of the stuff in the suspension section (search for sydney kid) that should help getting some good info on this Edited June 1, 2006 by Resin Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/120185-jic-coilovers-sf-1-or-sf-2/#findComment-2219877 Share on other sites
