I know it was stupid to tap the brakes but I wasn't really thinking and they were pissing me off.

I'm going to call the cops every time I see them and hopefully they will get them. I'm pretty sure if they get pulled over the cops will find drugs and be able to defect them as well.

For those of you in the area it happened on Englorie Park Dr in Glen Alpine.

The cop I spoke to said to not leave my details when I call otherwise I will have to do a statement every time and then when they do get caught they won't know it was me because the police will be taking them to court or whatever.

If they do somehow find out it was me and anything happens to my car, I feel very very sorry for them because it won't be hard to track them down and make their life not worth living. Hopefully this won't have to happen though.

So what's the difference between them tailgating you, and you brake-checking them? None really. They're both instances of aggressive driving.

I don't really understand why you are gonna be reporting them to the cops everytime you see them, based on one incident..but each to their own.

They didn't just tailgate me, they swerved at me as they went past. I was only reacting to them, I wouldn't do it normally but they were being a dickhead. I'm going to report them every time I see them because I have never had someone drive so badly and try to run me off the road. Although with the way they drive they will end up dead sooner or later.

I hate to plug the New Zelander's but sometimes I really wish NSW had a scheme like this:

http://www.police.govt.nz/service/road/roadwatch.html

It says:

"The Community Roadwatch programme has been designed for use by New Zealand Police to advise the owner of a motor vehicle about the unsafe or risky driving behaviour you have observed and reported where you do not wish the offender to be prosecuted. The Police will regard your report as confidential; in accordance with the provisions of the law as it relates to privacy and disclosure of information.

If you wish the incident to be investigated with a view to charges being laid in Court you must lodge a formal complaint with your nearest police station."

Driving a skyline for many years in syd, it's rare to not have a drive where you don't encounter an idiot.

best of luck!

They tried to run her off the road. That is the difference. Ever been run off the road raz0r$sharP? Ever had someone swerve their car at your Skyline on purpose? Ever been scared for you life...

Sure we all react differently to situations, some ppl can brush things off, some can't. I tend to think I keep cool about most things, and am comforted in the fact that generally what goes around comes around...But posts like yours do nothing but push buttons. The wrong ones.

    • Yeahhhh, the costs have killed me. Spent more than the cost of an engine rebuild and it most mostly servicing and a tune lol.
    • I'm not 100% how the BMW racers do it, but I know from other brands like Merc, moving, and changing the coolers is one of the things. Like getting a transcooler out from infront of the radiator to out near a wheel arch. So some of the stuff you've got crammed in the middle front, spread it out and open up where you can in the bar to get more air in to the sides.
    • Small update for the day... Turns out the intercooler and engine coolant hose kits are anything but complete....I probably should have counted better but it only really covers about half the coolant hoses in the car, it really just covers the visible stuff and pretends everything else doesn't exist (turbo water feed and returns and also heat exchanger lines through the 2 pumps and cooler) .In any case, I'm happier to have half reliable hoses than none, but a bit of a disappointment. Anyway...finger click (and 5 hours).....hoses in place, lots of spring clamps replaced with screw clamps, and engine coolant is on the pressure tester for the night.   Incidentally, upsized header tank is an Inifiniti factory option....not sure I'll ever do prod car racing in this but at least it is legal.
    • Just weld it onto the hot pipe. If you want it right after the turbo, put it right after the turbo. Or rip the comp cover off and drill and tap a hole into it.
