If your asking about if sau goes cruising then yes we do...

Sometimes as a club for members only.

Sometimes as a un official event in which we post it in the events section for eveyone to see.

Then once a year we have MSC (Mass skyline cruise) which is open to all and is help every year round october area.

Yeam im affraid im going to have to agree with daz, your confusing me. There is a nissan cruize from brisbane to ballin and gold coast people will be able to join in aswell.

wats wrong with wat his saying hes right, plus azza is right no one does shit around here anymore, or you have to be a member to do stuff. i was one for over a year and it was the dumbest most boring f**ked up thing i did, went on like 2 cruises and got a shirt wow. and back then non members were welcome aswell now if your not a member u dont dont get shit, its like some secret society or sum BS where only members are welcome lol.

if you want a cruiz organise it man, name the time, place etc and c wat response you get......

i suggest we meet up for coffee and then a stroll along the beach, NON SAU MEMBERS ONLY HAHAHAHA

Werd

Kris start a thread with a simple cruise plan.

Search for previous cruise instructions in threads and it will be easier.

make it a Saturday or Sunday so you get a nice turn out,

Maybe make it The Spit on a Saturday afternoon or something for some nice group pictures etc.

People are under the influence you need 100 skylines for a good cruise meet.

5-20 cars showing up is awesome, enough people to talk to in a group and not too many that you dont meet everyone.

We used to do Saturday night cruises up into the mountains which imo was more fun than anything that has happened recently.

Night time mountain cruises cannot be beaten.

Springbrook or out to murwillumbah via Nerang Road, Natural Arch all awesome runs.

Its best to have someone that knows the roads infront though to avoid losing someone off the road.

Hold up... (GOR33)

Lets get one thing straight...

The club (SAU QLD) is separate to the forum (skylinesaustralia.com) Its just the forums are used by the club to communicate.

Anyone is allow to orginise a cruise. Go for it, nothing stopping anyone from doing so.

So as a moderator of the forums i will only interupt a post or a thread if it breaks forum rules. The only reason most people dont go cruising is because the club has allot of major events and we are generally already doing somthing or its an off weekend...

There is no secret society or stone masons thats just in your head.

To be short there is nothing wrong with what he posted...

No one was having a go. Other than with the pictures, that was a bit weird tho...

How do you see the situation GOR33??? Cause i dont understand your point of view???

The club "SAU QLD" is a corperation and is seperate to the forums...

Just like "Myer" or "Coles" is separate to "Coles Myer coperation"

Anyways im telling you their separate.

The club is for paid members, if you choose not to pay to become a member than you are not a member... Whats your problem with the system.

The forums are free for all and anyone may use them as needed. If you feel left out then join the club.

    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
