we did exactly the same shit back in the day as you all do in the "club" now, only diff is you need to pay to do be a member to do stuff.

pretty pointless. didnt it all start from that section were only memebers and special people could go in and see organised cruises that cops cant c?

mate enjoy ya club thats fine just a mesage to all, dont flame this poor c**t for trying to get amongst the cruiz scene, despite how he displays his posts haha

I think what people need to see is that even if your not a paying member and are a newbie you CAN make a thread or ask a known member if they would like to help with a cruise and get the activity back to where it used to be back in the good old days.

If you like the cruise then become a member and be involved in more events.

Will be good if Matt's cruise goes ahead sometime soon because that will only spark more interest for everyone to get into it again.

Are you mental...

GOR33 I just said that you can orginize as many cruises as you wish...

Plus whos flaming the guy... Your making a mountain out of a mole hill... Im still not seeing what your problem is...

Are you just carying on to see if you can get a rise out of me???

no, the qld club started from forum members, now you say that the qld club has nothing to do with the sau forums, you just utilse the forums to organise ya shit, so start your own club qld forums then.

i didnt flame the guy, i said let him be and encouraged him to start a cruiz. and the club may have chnaged now and is probaly more exciting for its members, but it was crap when i was in it, thats y i didnt rejoin.

take wat im saying how u want, the forums!!!!!! have turned to shit, thats all im saying, and all wenever a non member talks of a cruiz members just laugh it off and say join the club

like not long ago were i asked about a show and shine, only response was yeh the club has one, but thats usefull to the people who cant see what the clubs does.

the forums use to be one united place nwo its split, makes it hard to be a skyline enthusiast

The qld members forum is separate thats why you cannot see it. SAU allows SAU QLD to use the forums and thats non of your business as to why or what costs are involved and why would you want to know anyways.

I never said you did, you said we flamed him, get your facts straight

well if the forums are not to your liking then you wont mind a break from the forums. For lets say 7 days.

like not long ago were i asked about a show and shine, only response was yeh the club has one, but thats usefull to the people who cant see what the clubs does.

The club needs to have the show and shine so it can be orginized with insurance. If you provide your public libility insurance yourself then you have your show and shine which is not illegal. You cannot tie the club or the forums to an illegal event.

the forums use to be one united place nwo its split, makes it hard to be a skyline enthusiast

Maby you should put up or shut up. Your the problem here not anyone else.

Cya in a week.

Stuff it

One cruise coming up, stay tuned

Ill be your friendly organiser Girtrude

Good to see that someone understands!!!

Good on ya Arron. It will be good for the non-members...

Cheers Col

NOTE: This thread will not be moved or cleaned up as it has good info for other in it to learn from.

SATURDAY NIGHT CRUISE 29/07

GOLD COAST

BE THERE EVERYONE

Brisbane people this includes you.......................

Anyone that doesnt show up needs to be banned for 3 days.

sorry for the flaming but i was point ing out that u dont need to post stupis stuff , just ask a question like every other normal person and we will all get along fine. quite simple really. also i am not a member of the club and i still attend some cruises.

bcoz i live up the coast not many cruises come this way, so i dont wanna travel to goldy/brisbane all the time just to go for a cruise.

but on the other hand i dont mind the odd cruise , for me too many cruises at once i like one every month or so. for all ppl to enjoy. and the reason i am not a member of the club is that i would not get my moneys worth out of it, in my opinion bcoz of the distance i would have to travel to attend some things.

    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
