hey buddy, good to have another line in town.

im based in bathurst, but theres not really anywhere to take your car. its V8 town remember.best bet would be to make the journey to the eastern suburbs, sydney. even if there were some place in bx it would be hell expensive, and probably not up to sydney quality.

by the way, im based in bx,but currently in europe.

if you ever see a metallic blue soarer or a jzx80 dark blue/green supra, give them a wave. mates of mine. both TT, feel free to show them the power on the RB26, then need to be shown.

be home in 3 weeks, keep an eye out for gunmetal r33 gtst or a JZX100 chaser. both me.

enjoy the track!

I go out there sometimes - a mate lives there and I go out there to get away from the big smoke and piss it up there :D hahaha

Last time I was there, there was me and a mate in a GTR and didnt see any other skylines

will keep an eye out next time :)

Cheers,

Chris

Thats ok, I used to live in the Blue Mountains and took my car to Steves Auto Barn. He does a good job and has 2 Skylines of his own. Its the same shop that built Buster's car.

Its only an hour from here so I will continue to go there.

Also I have seen at least 7 different Skylines getting around town including 2 GTR's and a few GTST's with front mounts ect

And yes the track is awesome. Shame I cant run in the hillclimb this Sunday........have to Work :whistling:

Thanks

Tim.

Heya 32Zilla,

I live in Bx, when I want an oil change etc, I go down to Adam Cope Mechanical, he's on Kircaldy St, which is Just off the Vale Road. (Turn left when you see the Devro sign, after the Farmer's Arms Pub)

Adam Cope's the better in Town, good for general work, inc turbo swaps, suspension work, oils changing etc.

He's honest, and pretty experienced, and happens to have a 2wd dyno :-)

There is also automate, but I personally prefer Adam (Cleaner, newer workshop)

For skyline specific work, (aka serious troubleshooting/tuning etc - Goto Sydney)

And, i'll be one of the 'lines around with a frontmount ;-) Silver SII '33 - ZebHax

:-) see plenty of peeps running about the mount:-)

(including the Ute guy that got done @ 180 on Conrod the other month.. )

For smash repair, Browning's Smash Repair have a good rep, as well as Ray Morcombes (Keppel St and the Vale Road)

IIRC, there's 2 '33 GTR's in town, 1 R34 GTR, 1 34 GTT, about 6 R33 GTST's, 4+ Silvia's, 2 R32 GTST's (1 4 Door) and a good slection of RX's....

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
