I might be able to get a limited quantity of Bosch 044 or 984 fuel pumps. Not sure on final pricing yet but they should be around $350 for the 044 and around $250 for the 984. I was originally going to get the 984, but since it's so cheap to get the 044 I'm tending towards that instead now.

Anyway I was just wondering if there would be anyone interested in these at this price. If so please reply here. Please note that this is going to be a one-off! Once I have my pump that's it. The only reason I'm posting it here is because I may be able to order several at once, but they will more than likely have to be the same type. So tell me (in public please, no pm's because it becomes difficult to maintain a tally) which pump you want, and I'll probably get whatever the majority wants (but if there's not much in it, I'll go for the 044).

The reason why it's a one-off is because I have a friend who deals with Bosch but not in their car parts, and Bosch don't like trading to non-auto dealers with their car parts. This is going to be a personal favour to my mate from his contact in Bosch and it won't be repeated! Escpecially since it's also a personal favour to me from him :P

It's also entirely possible for the above reason that he can only get one (for me) so please don't get offended if this offer is suddenly withdrawn. I'm only offering this to fellow enthusiasts of this forum on the off-chance I can get more than one.

The last 3 digits are what everyone refers to them as. The complete part numbers are as follows:

Sorry guys, just got word that I can get one only direct from Bosch :D (for me, and a lot cheaper than I thought :)) However, I still may be able to help.

Firstly, the trade price for the 044 from Repco is $355, and for the 984 it's $245. So if you can, try getting finding someone who can get trade prices from Repco and all will be sweet. Or even if you work for a company that's even semi-vaguely automotive-related you should be able to fax through an order on your employer's behalf and probably get trade prices that way.

Secondly, my mate may be able to deal with Repco because his company may fall into the aforementioned category, but this would be a bit of a hassle and he'd probably want about $20 per unit for his time. So the theoretical price would be a bit more than I originally quoted, ie around $375 for the 044 and $255 for the 984.

The upside to this is if he *can* do this through Repco, there will be no time limit or rush of orders needed. I should find out by Monday if he can set up an account with Repco and get the trade prices for you. But if you can deal with Repco yourself then that'll be better, it'll save some hassles and 20 bucks.

Hope this has been helpful, and sorry about the original offer falling through! (it would have been a LOT cheaper than what I first quoted too :))

Edit: Crap! It just gets (slightly) worse and worse! I forgot about the freight cost from Repco to my mate's work, and from there to you. Dunno what that would be but it would be added to the cost. Dealing with Repco youself is definitely going to be the best way if you can swing it but even at an extra $30-40 or so it's still going to be much cheaper than retail.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
