Galfer And Lucas Brake Pads

I was quoted by V Sport a set of Galfer front pads ($148) and Lucas Rear pads ($63). Have you used these brands and how would you rate them? I just wonder why the rear is so much cheaper than the rear (apart from the brands). Given this setup is expected to give better bite at the front compared to the rear, would this be unbalanced? (hence making the front during much more effort the the breaking?

i got lucas pads front and rear on my 180. noisy and very dusty. wouldnt recommend. theyre basically standard replacement.

they are harsh on rotors though

I have Lucas all round on my cefiro atm (r32 brakes) and I really quite like them. Im not sure of the range they are tho. But not too dusty, pull up nice, dont really seem to fade (haven't had them on a track yet so no real chance to test them).

Ive tried them on the track, they are alright for a road pad, they have a good heat range. But for the track, after 1 meeting there was nothing left but a steel plate.

Must note that was with the std calipers and slotted rotors.

The Lucas pads on my car dust to all buggery. They need a clean after 100km! But for the price they are pretty good I have to admit.

Lucas pads are shit.

I used them based on the recommendation of a shop in Sydney and will never be using them again
