Turbo Boost Half Only

Hi. The reason for my problem is that I like the flutter sound a bov makes. When I bought the car it had the original bov connnected and an aftermarket Hks attached together. I tried to sepeate the 2 and only use the hks one. But then my gauage only read 5 pounds and it was not increasing any further. If any one can help that id be ace. At the moment I am comprimising the fluterr sound or no boost. I want to get both at same time. .................

Or could it just be as simple as seeing if all connections are connected. ( i hope not )

if you want flutter sound take the bov off and block all the pipes going to it.
