Im from SA so i can only speak of what i know but here if you are over 18 you are alowed one. well its one per 18year old in the house. but i would always advise on getting a basic keep and sell licence that in SA is just over $50 for a year and you can have any kind of protected reptile and things like emu's, kangaroos ect, and even some plants...but plants arnt cool. Prices vary between $250ish to $1000 for the black and gold's (the bright yellow and black ones in the middle) and then about $500 for a tank heat lamp and stuff like that, feeding is really cheap most pet stores sell frozen mice and a full grown mouse is a couple of bucks and you would only need to feed once a fourtnight at most. i can get snakes that grow to one meter to 8 foot and some even bigger. They are great pets and can live a good 40+years. feel free to PM me any questions at all. Thanks Lex

some can be little pricks but most are ok, some snakes are known to be evil breeds and some are known to be plasid, i have also found that if u breed a calm pair u usually get calm babies, but most of the time they are pretty scared of you

I mean I'd love one as well, as long as it's assured that they wont bite. But they're snakes. Snakes are known to be Evil! I wouldnt buy this and just let it stay on it's cage and just look at it. I wnna be able to touch it, like my scorpions! So as SKYLVIA said, any assurances that this wont bite??

Thats just like saying any insurance that your dog wont bite you? It all depends on how you handle it if its going to bite you, plus usually raised in captivity usually most time 9/10 the wont bite, and if they do maybe only at feeding time.

I guess as long as theyre not venomous, it should be ok getting bitten by them. Not unless they eat your whole arm or so. But again, tough pets. Looks sick and bump bump bump.

ok in reply to all the comments about biting. as you would guess i have been bitten many times. some worse then others. i know the whole swallowing an arm thing is a joke but if your are so slow that you let it get up past your knuckle you should be eaten. It takes most snakes a good 30mins + to eat a little mouse so your arm would take a good hour. snakes also are rather smart and they know they they wont be able to eat you or digest you so dont bite (appart from scrub pythons because those get reallllly big and have eaten people) Usually the better looking and brighter the snake the more violent it is. the black and gold (middle snake in the photo) is a very aggressive snake when young but with handeling (i use a welders glove to handel bitey snakes) they will eventually calm down. My mum is a primary school teacher and we take out alot of out snakes for the kids to see and touch and we have never ever had one bite. on the other hand my mum owns a poodle, he is cute and tiny but if you get between him and food he will bite you, snakes can be the same. you piss it off and it will bite you, you piss of a bogan and he will hit you. there is never a promiss that they wont bite. when they are young it really doesnt hurt, its like getting nibbeled on by a cat if any one knows what im talking about or a thorn from a rose. it doesnt hurt. any one who buys my snakes i teach how 2 feed and alot of other info. if any one is intereded do call me on 0403300968. thanks

Lex

An anaconda would be cool but they dont live in australia so the only way i could get one would be becoming a vet and then specalising in reptiles and then work for a zoo and import one in. Australia has very strict rules on importing animals. as is...you cant at all.

Well if any one wants one message me

    • Yes the gear for the R33/34 is different, it is red and has a different number of teeth. My part didn't come with that gear though, so I don't know how many teeth are on the red one. You'd have to reuse the 260RS/R33 gear, as long as it's not destroyed.   Haha, as unfortunate as that might be it was working fine for about the first 1500km I've had the car for now.
    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.

    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
