Bought me another 'liner a few weeks back and it'd been lowered by the kid who owned it. Now this is ok if done properly but Boy Genius had fitted shorty springs to standard, and worn, shocks. As a matter of fact the springs were about 50mm shorter than the distance between the spring seats.

Now I hope noone on this forum is silly enough to duplicate this wondrous feat, but just in case.......

DO NOT FUSKIN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, you may think it looks cool but it'll totally destroy the handling as well as being bloody uncomfortable and illegal. As I said to Sydneykid the bloody thing felt like it was suspended by Skippy the Bush Kangaroo on Acid. Fortunately I got the standard springs with the car and fitted them while the Whiteline gear is on its way.

So to sum up,if you drop the car to 100mm ground clearance on standard shocks you will have a piece of shit. True. No discussion necessary. Trust me on this.
